Money isn't everything but without money , it is not easy to survive in a society where you do need money to go on. I wonder if there is someone who can still enjoy their life without any money in their pocket?I am I not a guy who wants lots of money and always dreaming about getting rich or so.But in reality , we do need money to survive and not to borrow from others. However, if someone can share with me how they can still enjoy life without any money in their pocket. It would be great. Share with us.

Dear wildlittlefan, I am today at the age of 50 got well settled financially! But believe me I never worked for money and I never had greed for money. I never wanted to have a big amount of money , big fancy Cars etc. I work as a Senior resident Veterinarian on a Stud Farm, where we breed race horses and sell them for the purpose of racing! This job of mine involves lot of technical work along with a lot of physical work and since there are very few professionals in our field in or country I could have demanded a high salary from my Bosses. But believe me till the date I never demanded any high salary and the money it came to me automatically and I am happy about it. Though I am in the field of racing I never played any serious gambling till the date in attempt to make big money from it! I am not really interested in having a lot of money, I am happy so long my needs are getting fulfilled and my family is happy and i am saving bit for my future! But one thing is for sure that I know that life without money is not really easy thing to live! Though money is not every thing in life but life without money is very miserable and it is a sort of curse on one! One has to pass through various problems without money and it can even ruin every thing right from a happy family to delicate relationships. So I feel though money is not everything in one's life but the money should be given the respect it deserves and should be handled carefully and sensibly to make our lives happier! Thanks friend for initiating such a nice topic! I liked participating in it!

Yes! I think that it can be tough to make the change, if you're use to having money to go out and have fun and then all of a sudden you don't have the money to spend. This has kinda happened to my hubby and I. We're really trying to save money right now, so there isn't as much to go out and have fun with. At first it was really difficult because we were use to going out and spending money at places such as restaurants, stores, movie theaters, etc. It was our way of getting out and having a good time. Now we try to do things like stay in and watch movies we already own, read books together in bed, play board games, play a game on the Wii together, etc. There are a lot of things you can do that are fun and don't cost money. Sometimes the hardest part is just making that change!!

Yes, I agree with you. I still remember once I have to go through a surgery and need to stay in the hospital for two weeks. The hospital had nothing great about food but just simple and limited food to keep you healthy and survive.Everything was just so quiet in there and no more conflict like our normal world did.It was a public hospital and it only cost me 100 HK dollars to stay in there. For medical it was really nothing when compare to those expensive private hospital.I didn't have to spend any money in there for a buffet or a big meal. Just something really simply like two pieces of bread , some water and sometimes some vegetable and fruit such as an apple or an orange.I feel happy and healthy at that times. That really taught me that life could be very simple and we are the one whom always don't feel satisfied with life . Sometimes we love to compare with others even when we have enough to eat and survive.I think if we can change our life style and live with a thankful heart for each day. we can still be happy even we don't have much money in our pocket. I think ,the pressure from others and from the society will always be the problem for our unhappiness. Well, to live in a society that really needs money to survive, we can't always live in poverty. But sometimes we really have things more than we suppose to have. Look at the people in Ethiopia, I think we would be happy in the situation we are .

Agree, I have experienced with that type of people. When you have money , they would know you. if not , it would be hard to find them to help you.No thanks, I won't have friends like that in my life.Just give them a good kick and send them to the Galaxy in outer space.

Most of my adult life, I haven't had money in my pocket. I enjoy the Internet and sometimes there are heartwarming youtube videos. My life is also made happy when I see a child happy or at play.

i agree with you we can't enjoy without any money. But sometimes during those times when all the money in pocket are spent, I will just stay at home. Watch tv, surf, do household chores, etc. I only enjoy for a short time, what i really like is to go out of the house.

I really can't enjoy my life in this few years since I was having a hard time to find a job. After a long struggle,I will running out of money in the next few weeks and I am going to work in the insurance business next week as well. However, I don't have any client for the time being, it is going to be tough for me when I start to do this kind of business.Without money, it is not easy to enjoy life.without a client, I can hardly make any commission out of this job. What am I suppose to do now? Find the client and find more ways to make money for my family as well. I hope this dark hours of my life can be over as soon as possible because it is just quite hard to live a life like that.

Of course we all need some money for the essencials. But that means one thing to some people and another to others. I need money for food, to pay my bills (that I try to keep as minimal as I can), to buy something to wear maybe once in a year. I almost don´t spend in clothes and my only "toy" is the computer with wich I also work. I like to read, I like to entertain my friends but I can cook cheaply and they always bring somthing. I don´t like to borrow so I love earning some money online for the extras.

Without absolutely any money at all I don't think that it would really be possible to enjoy life because of the fact that there is no way to meet the basic requirements for what people need. However, I think that is we are talking about a situation where the basic needs are met but there is no money left over then it is possible to enjoy life. The reason that I say that is because when you have food to eat and a roof over your head you will find that the simplest things bring you pleasure.

I read a book, and also watch a movie about this guy who give up his good life at home, and he simply abandon his luxury life to be a roamer. He walk his way to Alaska without any money. With the help of other people, like generous people, he made it there, and also die there too. So, someone might make this happen. For me, money do give me headache sometimes.

Yes, I defin9tely agree with you. Although money is not everything, it is a daily necessity in these modern times. No one can live easily without money. I don't want that much money, as long as I can buy the things that my family and I need and want too- that's fine with me..

If I don't need to afford my folks, I colud live very simple. I could stay away from the noisy city and do something I really want. Last year my father suffer the heart disease and had to stay at hospital for medical treatment. I spent a lot of money and totay I still worry about his recurrence. So I have to work hard to make money and provide the living guarantee for my folks. Life isn't easy and money is a necessity nowadays that you can hardly do anything without money.

It would be difficult, but i believe yes, we still can enjoy life even without money. Everything now means money, and people have forgotten that there are a lot of things that are free for us to enjoy. Peace and nature are something worth enjoying. Health is also.

We are living in a materialistic world, everything is now connected to money. Your emotions, relations and all concerns are connected to money. So its obvious that no one can feel happy or enjoy life without money. I have realized this thing very early in my life and i decided never to be a slave of this materialistic culture. I have no problem that i have money in my pocket or not. I enjoy every moment of my life. I like yous thoughts also and want to advice you keep your thoughts strong and you will live a happy life ahead.

I definitely think that you can. I don't have a lot of money, and I still am somewhat able to enjoy myself. It really isn't always easy to do so, but I do try and it is still somewhat possible.

Having money creates less stress in some ways, but much more in others. Many increase their standard of living when income increases, and thus, still have many bills. I often think about the days when we were broke, my husband and I worked a lot together, and for many years were inseparable. We struggled financially, but we had a lot of fun and seemed to enjoy life more. Now, we do not have much time to do anything, as work seems to be a constant dominant in our lives. I would be happy with less money, as long as I had my partner. When we were broke, we took a lot of walks, read to eachother, talked a lot, painted and other crafts, researched, became involved in politics, explored our local parks and library. Those are some of the things we did to enjoy life without (much) money.

Of course you know that you need 'the stuff money can buy' to survive. (I haven't considered eating my money, and don't plan to.) Life is actually much better if you can get that stuff without giving money for it---living on land that your family has always owned, eating foods you grow there or -you receive from neighbors, wearing clothes you received as gifts, electricity by magnet-contraptions (I might sell on my profile or give you the link with a friend-request), etc.

Difficult questions and unpleasant to think about especially contemplate. All that we do need the money. We eat, need money, washing clothes need money, and others. Life without money is very difficult. Though the money we have just a little and sometimes not enough, we still can not get away from money. Money is something that is important. Many people say money makes people do evil, which it says is true, because money is what makes us able to live life. For worship we also need the money, we need to worship a neat clothes, and to have clothes, we have to buy clothes with money. So the conclusion humans can not live without money, except to live with at the mercy of others.
