Why Does America Hate Children So?

"'Suffer the children' (allow the children) to come unto me," Lord Jesus says. "No! Not until they grow up and pay us their taxes!" replies America (known as The Antichrist in some circles). Well, I decided to go unto Lord Jesus; and no, that DOES NOT MEAN 'end my life' (and you are a servant of satan if you allow yourself to believe that that's what it does mean). It DOES mean 'walking in the light as He is in the light.' Walking in that light left me happy to remain a child. 'A child' is one whose occupation it is to receive 'needed' gifts (whether that means 'asked-for' or 'begged-for' or 'annoyingly whined-for,' I am not sure). Oh, I understand that 'children should wish to be adults' (just as angels should wish to be humans), but I am unable to maintain 'sufficient concentration to carry all the effects of adulthood' (picky little differences; too little to name but existent all the same). That is, 'being a working-adult' would be a good thing for me; but so would 'having wings and telekinesis.' So why won't America pay me according to what a good child I am?

Let's try this again. I had posted it and found out that I had been logged out of the site because I had cleared my cookies and once I logged back in, my response had disappeared! I try to live my life in a good way. I help people when I can (usually by doing something that doesn't cost anything since I have little money to survive on). I don't do bad things that will hurt people. I have often worked two jobs to make ends meet and now due to medical condition, I am unable to work at all now. I am struggling to get on disability because of the current situation, but it doesn't look good. I worked for many years and I should be able to get something back from the government. I don't know if that is the kind of thing you are trying to get at with this topic, but that was the impression I had. Hopefully things will start going well for you. Have a great day!

It would be nice if things could work for people like us. I'm tired of being a "do-nothing" and "have-nothing" I can't even take out a loan (except student loans, and I'm almost maxed out on those LOL). Have a great day!

What gets me is, when you get down to 'what the money really is,' it's basically a loan made out to people who pay for stuff--I mean, you're taught that 'it's all earned' (and it is, for the people who earn it ), but it all COMES FROM people who take it out on loan! Patience pays, I guess

Oh, we all want something for nothing. Very few things in life come easy or free.If your job doesn't pay enough, go for more education or learn a trade. When the going gets tough; the tough get going.Besides, if you did make tons of money, you would just buy more stuff. Do we all really need all that stuff anyway??? Perhaps, God doesn't send you free money for a reason. Let's get with it. Let's see what you can really do!!! Seems you are giving up way to easy.

I guess I could sum it up asking Why doesn't the President/Government take responsibility for his/their Citizens' mistakes?

Well I have been a very good child and thus to date I have never received anything from "America". The only thing this grown up is hoping is that "America" clean up it's act and realize that I am not asking for much, as I simply want to work, so that some day, hopefully no time soon, when and if I need to ask "America" for assistance that it be made available to a hardworkinggurl like me.

I'm not sure what your referring to. If your referring to baptists then yes I agree. But you say "...why won't America pay me according to what a good child I am?" This is capitalism - you work and get paid accordingly. Things have gotten hard in recent years (very hard for some) but it is still possible to find work doing something beneficial. You can always make necklaces or some kind of craft. OR, you can learn a trade. America will pay you for being a "good" child - but you have to give us something we want. Find it and you'll have your pay day.

The AntiChrist reference is an interpretation of The Bible (but the interpretation can stretch to fit nearly any organization that tries to rule your life, so I just take it as a reminder of who's-the-boss). "you have to give us something we want." Why doesn't 'not doing what I would like to do to you' pay very-well then?
