I was driving to my daughter school and I saw a darwf mother (of 40 years more or less) with her dwarf daughter (of 11 years more or less) walking happily to the daughter´s school. I think is very tender that both are facing life together as normal people. The mother teaches the daughter to face life in a common daily way. Don´t you think so?

As the mom accepts herself, she sets an example for her daughter to accept herself as well. Our societies are so diverse that we can see almost any exceptional person. I do not know if this is really uncommon where you are, but we have lots of people who have a variety of disabilities.

That is so cute~ We should give a full respect and salute to the mom as she is doing a great job for accepting and enjoying their lives. And I think the girl learn that from her mom to not care the others and just face the real.

Yes CTHanum, you are right! We should all look at our hearts, rather to our heights... and that was what the mother was teaching her... don´t you think so? Kind blessings!... Dainy

Hi. dainy1313. I love to see things like this. It melts my heart. No matter what we look like or where we have come from, we all are human beings. We deserve to have a chance in life. This mother is strong and she is teaching her daughter great morals as she goes through life! Kudsos to her mom!!

A good mother´s role is always teaching their children to face life in a common daily way. It is more difficult when we have any kind of disability, or when we belong to any kind of minority. I remember the first time I went to the US with my parents, when I was 10. I saw black people in Miami and thought to myaelf they were SO different. I had never seen a black person in my entire life. The only enconter I had with them was in fairy tales. Now I know better. They are people. Period. And in some places they face lots of extra trouble because of their colour. I wonder... Is the word "cute" a result of you looking at the dwarf family as if they just came out of a circus? Would you say "cute" if you went a normal size mother and daughter pass by? The word normal is a matter of stadistics. There is no such thing as normal, as I see it, because we are all unique human beings. Thanks be given!!!

Marguicha it´s beautiful what you say "a good mother´s role is always teaching their children to face life in a common daily way". I used "cute", because it was a so tender scene. My mother always worked in an office, from 8 am to 6 pm, for 25 years, I was in the day care, then I was in the school bus, then I had to walk with my little brother, 3 kms to reach our home, then we grew up, and my mother wasn´t at home when we went out of school, and neither when we were going to school, because it was my father who took us to school in the morning . I had a nanny since I was born up to my 16 years. So it was tender to watch them both, and more tender that the mother appreciates herself and that is what she teaches to her daughter, in a common daily way. Yes it is even cute to me when I see normal size people coming, or going, with their kids going to school together. And more this tiny mother&daughter. They are together facing life. Kind blessings!... Dainy

I like seeing those scene not because it is something to laugh at but that scene inspire people. Sometimes having the normal physical look is not enough for us to be proud of our selves and still we look for some more like riches or fame. Just look at that scene, it will make us realize that having that height disability is not a hindrance to have a happy and contented life.

I know some small people who worked at a bar I used to frequent. I had a talk with them one time (I was drunk and was just dumped ). They're pretty cool, actually. They had a lot of jokes and we had a lot of laughs. One thing though, they told me that it's hard to be like them. People think of them differently, like they're some kind of freaks, and they said they don't appreciate it. They should be treated as people too, and not as laughing stock, jokes, or clowns.
