I just saw a show on TV that introduced this lizard, Leiolepis ngovantrii, and they are all females, no male of them exist. They reproduce with the process called parthenogenesis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parthenogenesis These lizards were scientifically discovered only last year, but in a part of Vietnam, they have been a delicacy for quite some time now. Have you heard of this? Would you try it? Image of the dish (Warning: may be graphic): http://xenophilius.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/lizzardlunch.jpg

Hi Lore2009 that's some pretty interesting news. I knew that Komodo Dragons were able to reproduce without mating but I didn't know about this smaller lizard. And to answer your question YES I wouldn't mind tasting the animal if cooked probably, lol.
