I had to share this photo with you all, isn't she cute?! This is my PG (Pretty Girl) siamese kitten. She's 7 months old now. She decided that since Peanut, our chihuahua wasn't in his blanket, she'd take his spot and she curled up 'oh so nicely' lol She's something else, that's for sure. She's my shadow. She follows me everywhere and if she can't get to me, she'll cry out. Even when I'm in the shower, she wants to get in with me till she realizes that there's water. lol As long as I let her know that I'm there, she'll settle down. One time she went inbetween the shower curtain and liner. lol When hubby and I leave to go somewhere, I always make sure she sees me leave so she won't get 'too' upset. I hope she doesn't! It would just break my heart!
Now she doesn't like strangers. No way! She flies off to hide and when she comes out, it's only to see if the coast is clear and if it's not, she'll ZOOM down the hall or where ever and hide again. lol She's silly! She's nothing like my Gracie Grace was. Gracie loved company, stranger or not, she didn't care. She was right in the middle of it all but not my PG. Oh noooooo. If she doesn't know you, she doesn't want any part of you. lol
At night, she'll wait till I'm asleep, or so she thinks, and gets on my pillow and sleeps there. In the morning, she's not always there but she's on my bed somewhere. Like I said, she's my shadow. She loves to be petted but not held. She screams to be put down. She plays with those toy mice that you buy at the pet stores and even cries to them.... as if they're going to come to her. Yeah right. lol
Temper? Oh my! YES! She has a temper! I held her a little too long and she growled at me! She pinned her ears back real tight and just growled! I looked at her like she had two heads! lol I couldn't believe what I was hearing! But all I could do is laugh because she was so funny! But I did eventually put her down. Female siamese cats are so independent and very opinionated but that's what I love about them, they have so much personality. They're a lot of fun to have around. Now don't get me wrong here! I love all of my fur babies! All 12 cats and 5 dogs. I love them all, just that some show their selves in such cute ways and sometimes we're able to catch them and this is PG's moment to shine.
What do you think? Isn't she a cutie?!

What a pretty girl!
Now, Sparky runs if he's on the floor - but as soon as he gets off the floor he's ready for those pets!
Scamp, my black Siamese, used to be like that, the front door opened and he was GONE! But he is better now, he stops to see who it is before he splits!
That's because he'd run and it would just be me and he wanted to see me.
Picking him up isn't a good thing, he doesn't growl or anything, but he goes all stiff and sinks his nails in!

Isn't it neat to see how each cat is different from one another in not just their fur colors but their personalities? Each and every one of them are different but I couldn't love one any more than the other. I love them all.
PG won't growl unless I won't let her go then she pins her ears back real tight and a few seconds later she'll start growling. lol I can hold all my other cats but not her. She just hates it. It's like she has things to do and places to go. lol Being a kitten and a female siamese, it's no surprise. I've had males and they all loved to be held but not my females.

My first cat was a female black Siamese and I could carry her all day if I had the strength!
The Doctor, a male chocolate lynx point, didn't really want to be carried, he was of the opinion that he had 4 legs, much better balanced than those silly humans!
I have to say that right now, it is the males that want to be held. Rygel and Oliver will jump from the floor into our arms. Tony and Timus will jump from counters or tables. But Daisy loves to be held and cuddled too - obviously Daisy is female.

I have a Daisy too! She's calico and will be 10 years old in July. I got her from a second chance shelter in Killen Texas which doesn't kill any of their 'guests' Daisy was abandoned along with her brothers and sisters on the side of the road and someone found them and brought them there.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you about some of my males and one of my mom's male cats. Chopper, BoBo and Sammy all kiss me. It doesn't matter where either, it could be on my arm or my legs, where ever they find skin. lol Now my mom's cat Cherub, he's full blooded siamese lynx and he's just a big gorgeous teddy bear! Every night when mom goes to bed, Cherub will jump up on the bed and he kisses her all over her face and then works on her arms before getting down and gets in the rocker chair to go to sleep. She says her face and arms are soaked and wet by the time he's finished and she just loves him to pieces! lol Who wouldn't?! lol

Oh it's so good to see another fellow animal lover! Wish we all were! The world would certainly be a better place if we all felt the same way. And thank you for your kind words sweetie!

She sounds like she keeps your life busy. Her personality is similar to our black cat Princess. I am sure she has some Siamese in her bloodline. She rules the house. I bet when she knows you are gone Pretty Girl finds a place to sleep that smells like you and waits for you to come home. That is, unless she is out terrorizing all the other critters.

She sure does keep me hopping! lol She's constantly into this or that and anything she can get into or find! Just today I had to take out my hearing aids so I could fix my hair and she got a hold of them and ran like mad! I didn't know it until I went to put them back on and couldn't find them where I had put them but hubby found them on the bedroom floor! PG was laying on the bed acting oh so innocent. lol Yeah right. So from now on, I'll have to put them in a drawer, out of her reach. I call her my little huzz buzz.

She is adorable, siamese are my favorite kind of cat, but like you said, they usually don't like people, so there was only one time I got to hold one. It was a friend who had three rowdy children, so this cat must have been use to people and didn't mind being picked up. I loved that cat, and I don't know if I'll ever come across a siamese like her again..:(

Because for one, isn't a siamese expensive? And for two, I have two border collie/beagle puppies and any cat I get would have to put up with these two..

Thank you! She is a joy to have around. My previous cat, Gracie Grace was a people cat. When we had people over, be it family or friends, she'd be right in the middle of it all. She LOVED being around people and she was full blooded siamese. She's the one I lost last year from heart problems. That's why I now have PG. She really brightens my day. Why don't you ever get one?

Thank you yoyo! lol Most of my cats are sooners too. I have 12 cats and 10 are sooners but that doesn't bother me one bit because I still love them regardless. I agree, they are smart when taught to be. Mine are smart because I'm constantly talking to them as if they were humans. Nutty me, eh? lol

Oh my you have a zoo. I was going to ask you how many critters you have. I love my babies too. They love lounging in my bed. its a heated water bed, they act like its theirs. I keep it well covered with lots of layers, don't want any holes. I did get one hole once, had to patch that. Some people think I am nuts to let cats on my bed. once they feel the warmth you can't get them to stay off.

I'm feeling your pain sweetie. I really am. I wish there was some magic wand that I could use to make the pain go away and make it all better but there isn't. We have to go through it in order to get to the other side, so to speak. Please know we, all of us here, care and wish you the best..... and we're here if you need us.

OMG! She is too cute!!!! I am so jealous. She is just at the really cute age that make them so precious. As much as I love my four x four (four cats and four dogs) I can't help but to want more!
Right now with the serious medical problems I am having, Willy is right at my side constantly. I wake up with him by my side and fall asleep at night with him right there. Then when I finally sit down for a few minutes in the morning waiting for the pain meds to reduce the pain enough for me to start working on whatever project, I find Khuay in my lap working his magic to make me feel better.
Willy just crawled up in my lap and gave me "kisses" where he butts his nose up against mine and then he head butts me. When he finishes his greeting he curls up on my left arm as if he can absorb my pain that way. (I swear Willy is part dalmation, he keeps getting black spots on his little pink nose! He's up to 20 spots right now...at least that was the last count.)
I wouldn't give up one of my fur babies for the world. I would love to keep adding to the crew, but I don't want to upset any of the kids. After all Murphy turns 17 this year and she is so dear to me...she sleeps by my head EVERY night. Ding Ding has his moments where he is a total lovebug. Then of course you've heard about Willy and Khuay. They give me so much love, support and purpose. If I didn't have the 8 of them I would simply give up and not bother with anything. Having to get up every morning to take care of them is what keeps me going...
Take good care of that sweetheart! She is so special and cuter than words. Hug her for me!

Awwwww thank you Loverbear! She is a real gem to have around, that's for sure! She keeps me hopping! lol She's constantly into something when she's awake. Just today she took off with my hearing aids without my knowledge! I took them out so I could fix my hair and she took off with them and when I went to put them back on, they weren't where I put them. Hubby found them on the bedroom floor and PG was laying on the bed acting 'oh so innocent'. I call her my little huzz buzz. lol

She says her face and arms are soaked and wet by the time he's finished and she just loves him to pieces! lol Who wouldn't?! lol
When I was just a kid, I got really sick with the flu and my brother's cat who was solid black with a hint of white on her neck and so my mom and brother named her Skunk because she was so spoiled rotten that she stunk. LOL Not litterally but she was spoiled though. Anyways, when I got so sick, she stayed with me the whole time! She never left my side unless to use the kitty box or to get something to eat or drink. She kept wanting to get on my belly but I couldn't handle her being there but I kept petting her to let her know I knew she was there and how much I appreciated her trying to make me feel better. Some cats are like that and she was one of them, for sure. That was many years ago and I still miss her.
I gave PG that hug and she just put her paw on my chest as if to say, 'Ok now, I got it now put me down' lol She's my huzz buzz!! But I love her!! lol

Thank you! Yeah, she's a beauty! Stinking spoiled and rotten too! She knows I love her and knows she can just about get away with anything. lol The three that I've had loved both my hubby and I. If I wasn't around, they'd go to him. They didn't always want to be petted but wanted to be around another human being. Siamese cats hate to be alone.

Oh my! She’s adorable and she sounds like she adores you! I wish my Hewy loved me like that! Siamese are renowned for their loud meows; we used to have Siamese years ago and he was so dog like…My friend has one that plays fetch; you throw a ball to her, she will catch it and drop it at your feet just like a puppy. I hope you enjoy your new addition, she looks truly gorgeous!

I think she cares for me. LOL She's been a real joy since we got her, that's for sure. I love the breed. The females are so opinionated and mouthy whereas the males are laid back and docile. Both are loving in their own way. My mom had one that fetched too. She only did it with my mom though buy the idea that she did it is really cool.
Thank you for the compliment!

Awwwww that's really sweet of you to say! PG is a beauty, no doubt, even if I say so myself. lol Since you love siamese cats, I have another picture to share with you. It's my mom's siamese lynx cat and he's such a beauty too! And just as sweet as honey! At night when mom goes to bed, he gets up on the bed and kisses her face and arms till she's soaking wet before getting down and getting on the rocker chair and goes to sleep. He's a real loverboy. lol
