How Do You Spend Your Weekends?

Weekends are family bonding time for us. I prefer to stay at home and spend my time with my son. We do some arts like painting, coloring or writing. Play with board games like snakes and ladders. Read his books. Sometimes, when my husband brings home his laptop, we play computer games. We also sometimes watch cartoons together. Most of my time is spent on my son since we hardly devote enough time for him on work days. When I am not busy with my son, what I do for myself on a weekend at home is reading romantic novels in bed.

I love weekends! I always look forward to it after a really stressful day at work. When I was younger, weekends meant partying and clubbing and getting happily wasted with my friends. But when I hit my mid-twenties, weekends became days when I could recharge myself, mentally and physically for the work week ahead. A typical Friday night would be spent preparing a special dinner for myself. Nothing complicated, just comfort food. It could be Pasta ala Carbonara or just creamy scrambled eggs eaten with toast. Then I would sleep in on Saturdays. I love not waking up to the sound of my alarm and just being able to stretch leisurely in bed for the most part of the morning. Then if my friends are available, we usually have dinner or watch a movie on Saturday night. Then Sunday is spent with my fiance. We like marathon sessions of watching our favorite TV series. Then going to bed early so we won't be too tired on Mondays. lol...I really love weekends!

on weekends, most of the time i will be on grocery shopping with my mom on saturdays and will be with my bf on late afternoon on sundays.

Well, mostly I like to sleep in on the weekends. I stay up later then normal and then I sleep in. Then I usually get on the computer. My best friend lives far away so we always spend a lot of time talking to each over the computer on the weekends. Sometimes we have friends or family over on Saturday night and we just hang out. That's about it.

Before our baby was born, we usually went to the casino every weekends to play cards, we went fishing and to the beach during the day and spent time at the casino at night. But since our baby was born, we couldn't do casinos anymore, we just stay home, watch movies, play with our baby, pretty much it. Every once in a while, we go to visit his brother or play cards with his grandmother at the weekends.

The last days have been pretty cold, and many people were just stuck in their homes. I do have to go to work, of course, struggling through the freezing cold. The weather-man is forecasting a bit warmer temperatures over the weekend and over the coming week. That would be an opportunity to enjoy driving out to the countryside and get refreshed in the pleasant environment.

My husband and I don't always do a lot of our weekends. For the most part, we usually just spend time together, we talk, watch television or something, play games, or something like that. Sometimes, we do see friends and such. But unfortunately it doesn't happen a lot or very often.

I don't spend much time outdoors this time of year. I am usually inside. I watch movies and such fun with the kids, sleeping, and deciding on what goals I want to read in my writing for the next week. Now in the Spring and Summer I am usually on the green belt on my bike and occasionally my family and I go up to the mountains.

Well my dad works saturday and comes home around 12:30 and he will do some stuff around the house till me and my mom come home from running around town doing things. When it gets a little warmer outside we will start going to the beach on sundays or going out on the families boat and having a day at the sanbar and have some fun. We like to have BBQ's and have some family over and just hang out. We like when football starts then we go to some games down in south florida and have some fun doing that and tailgatting is alot of fun too.
