Any new ways to fix it...?

I used to have a cook book that was titled '101 Ways to Fix Hamburger'. I don't know what happened to it but I loved it. Love my hamburger too. I love meatloaf, sloppy joes, tacos, onion soup mix hamburgers, meatballs, meatball soup, etc. Anyone come up with a new recipe they might want to share? Any way to make this recipe healthier?

Use lean meats, grill not fry and smother your burgers with veggies. That would be healthy!

We often broil them in the oven. Good ideas. Thanks.

I like a simple hamburger with lettuce, tomato, little bit of onion + ketchup + mustard and of course a seasoned juicy meat patty . I think it is the best burger for me.

Sounds good. Do you add spices or herbs of any kind?

I have heard of substituting turkey for hamburger for a healthier dish. Now I must be honest..I have had things that were wonderful with the turkey substitute but then I have had things that just were not the same. Meatlosf and sloppy joes...not the same. Surprisingly..chili was great. Burgers...really good.

I used Turkey one time(first time) on the barbecue and it stuck and made a mess. We laughed over it. We started using bacon on it and it worked great. Thanks for your response.

Don't you just hate it when your favorite cookbooks "grow" legs and walk off?!? I had one that was called "How to Boil Water". I got it in my hope chest as a young girl. It had some really wonderful recipes in it....and one day my cousin wanted to look at it and I've not seen it since. Do you ever make casseroles with your hamburger? I know of a couple of different things you can make with hamburger. I like hamburger stew too. If you're interested send me a note and I'll PM you one of the casseroles that I like to make. It's a mexican casserole.
