Hi everyone...
I have been continuing my mobile number for last five years and i pay a bill of amount average 1200rs or 30$ (almost) every month. Days ago, my service provider called me that they are thinking to reward me due to my on time bill paying and for the great attachment with their service for a so long time period. They asked me my proper address to sent the gift and yesterday i received it. It is an iron which was must needed to me as my old iron get damaged. So, i am happy that at least they have thought to reward their customers as it's a private sector service. Is not it a nice surprise? Have you ever rewarded by your mobile service provider? What is your service.... private or govt? In addition to it do you like to share your monthly bill amount? Please share. Thanks in advance.

Wow.. Congrats Shibham
I never rewarded from my mobile service.. I guess i have also completed around 4 to 5 years with one mobile service. So i can hope the gift next year..
As i spend only 100 to 200 rs for my calling purpose. But for internet i pay 600 rs.. So total its around 800... I have to reduce my calling as per my internet requirement.
About service provider its a private.

That is awesome! I used tracfone for almost 10 years. It is a pay-as-you go service. I had signed up for automatic billing each month. The last year, something went wrong every month for 7 months in a row. That meant I had to call customer support and try to understand someone from India talking to me in Texas and fix what was wrong. I would spend about 30 minutes to an hour each time. It got really aggravating, so I looked at another service through AARP and switched. So far, I've had no problems, but it's only been 2 months. Anyway...cool that you got a gift and a thankyou for your loyalty. Wish that type of thing happene more often!

Hahaha... how i can hope that. This is just a satisfaction to their customers. So sorry to hear about your problem and it sounds nice that you have changed the provider. I had separate connection but all of them are irritating except this one. So i am happy enough with it. Take care.

I don't have a cell phone, but my husband does and he was told that if he pays his bill on time for six straight months, they will start giving him a discount on his bill until his monthly bill will only be $35.00 a month. That includes limitless phone and internet service..:)

Hi Shibham
Congratulations Shibham on the new iron that you won. we use BSNL and unfortunately there is no such scheme as it is a govt. based service. Earlier when I was using the RIM(Reliance CDMA) there were gifts in terms of free talktime for the next month but nothing physical. Oh yes, the last gift from RIM was a bill of 25,000.00 INR and that was a shock to me as my bills never exceeded 1200.00 INR and all were paid on time. That day I filed a suit and left the service. Since then, I am with BSNL.
Cheers,

That's nice. What company is that?
I have been using BSNL postpaid for more than5 years now. From the second month onward, I get a loyalty discount of 10% (I think) every month. My monthly bill never comes to more than 700 INR and I always pay online. When I make the payment online, I get a further 1% off on the next bill.
My husband uses Airtel Prepaid for about the same length of time.
I am satisfied with both the services.

Sorry, I meant to say from the second year.
Yes, it is indeed a gift, discount on the bill, that is. I usually get more than 100 INR discount every month, some month as high as 170 INR. I know it is not much, but in todays world, I am happy to get any discount.

It is great to be reward for being a faithful consumer. We do get such kind of incentives but not in gift forms. The service provider will give us rebate quarterly on certain percentage of our total percentage. The more we use our credits the more we receive in return.

Here, the companies do not reward you. They just raise their rates and try to get you to spend more!
I pay $15 a month for my cell phone and have it only for emergencies. The minutes roll over each month so I have close to 3,000 minutes saved up.

Hiya shibs,
Just have managed to get our Mobile phone Bill down to about the same amount as yours. I have told him let them e-mail you instead of you calling them all the time.
Eventually they have all got the message and e-mail instead thank goodness sometimes the Bill has been much much higher than that and all for no particular reason.
We get a chance to collect a certain amount of Points and have a new Phone not completely free of course but brand new and no extra things added on the Contract like they usually try to do you know.
This time they did it again and said they had misunderstood. Yes I bet they did too but it got canceled after writing an Official Letter by recorded Delivery and us paying the Bill for that Month otherwise they would not cancel it.
How do you like that?
However I am glad they rewarded you with something that really does come in handy at the best of times.

you better know it. Whatever they provide you as rebate, it always runs according to their benefits. Have a great day always.
