Are you a person who writes poems to your sweetheart?give a bouquet of roses or play the piano for him/her? Fact is, these are not the only forms of expressing how romantic we are. What's your story? What's the most romantic thing you ever did for the apple of your eye? Don't be shy.. :) In a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest. Rate yourself... BE HONEST...

Well as for me, I like to give poems and letters to my partner.. I can rate myself as 8/10 haha.. its a bit high, because when I do fall-in-love its like I give 85% of the whole me... I am very expressive, and when I express I express everything... the sweetest thing I did on my past years is that I made portfolio of poems for the one loved, then almost half of a book for my ex-boyfriend when I was in high school ahaha! when I was younger I am more expressive than now.. because I have a lot of things to do and study, and I don't have time for sweet-little-nothings and crushes, back then I am more of appreciating my heart than my mind that's why I get all the heart aches from them haha.. I am a female, so I don't give roses and stuffs... heheh I just give letters and poems, another thing I remembered that I sing songs for the one I love and loved... :)

Well, just because we are men does not mean we don't like to receive flowers from time to time. lol but letters and poems are nice too. Singing is also sweet.

One of the things I find is that when one is truly in love one continues to try to out do the previous expression of love and so it is hard to decide on the most romantic since that depends on the partner too and the expressions are many. I think I have been at the bottom as well as at the top of the scale at one time or another. I'll always remember trying to impress my daughter's mom on our first date. It was a surprise and so she did not know until we got on the boat almost at sunset and we took a romantic boatride into the sunset. But while this was romantic, she always remembered more the little things like waking her when i came from work with a rose or a candle light midnight snack. Or when she received roses at her job with a poem written in the little card. There were also times when i scored 0 so we won't go into those. lol

those are the things that make growing old together so meaningful, those stupid stuffs done when young. I think your husband-to-be will be lucky.

wow! that is very sweet! I hope my husband-to-be (whoever it will be) will do like those things...it will be talked out until the day that our hairs will all be white and until the time comes that's its me and only him talking with the sweetest and stupid stuffs we did when we were younger... :)

Wow, well that sounds really romantic..I guess if all men are like that women would always be at the pedestal staring at their husbands with starry eyes. Sounds like she's a happy wife...A wife life means having a happy wife..

When my wife and I first met we were very careful not to be in a hurry with a physical relationship. We both were attracted to each other but we had been down that road before and did not want to become physical until we felt we knew each other. As a result we didn't even kiss for some time but spent most of our time together talking and getting to know each other. Finally there came a time when we both knew. There was no doubt that the next time together would be our first kiss. I wanted very much to make it special so thought long and hard about what to do. Finally I had a plan. I created a CD that I would have her play and then while it was playing the first song I took her in my arms and kissed her. I wanted something that fit our circumstance and I found the perfect song. We had met on-line. When I first saw her profile I was attracted to the picture she had of herself as it seemed to tell me allot about her and so this is the song we first came together to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Knh9pV4EB3k I was nervous about it but, I guarantee you, it could not have been better. :-)

In a scale of 1 to 10, I will rate myself 8. I always find time to look for a unique gift for my husband for our special occasions. I love to write him love letters and give him cards during valentines.

On a scale of 1 - 10, i am 7. But i don't make poems to my husband even when we were just boyfriend-girlfriend. My husband isn't like that too, but we are both romantic at heart. We both would always celebrate special occasions in our life by dating even now that we are older.

Yes as I am one who will turn a simple meal into a romantic moment. I love to light candles and have music in the ambiance background and so love flowers present as well. I have done this even for myself as I find that I just like to give the mood a personal touch. Well I would not say a 10 but pretty close.

Nothing beats a personal touch...I do that too.. I made prints on a pair of shirts. For him I printed, CAUTION This Man is Taken, at the back it's OFF LIMITS... LOL For Me it also says, CAUTION This Woman is Taken...he really likes it...but it's not the first and only time I made shirts like this for the two of us.. :)

Sad to say I am not a romantic person. I don;'t want flowers and chocolates. I jave allergies on them. I hate making theme song for our love relationship, I find it nonsense. But I want to be cuddle, to hug and kiss. I think I just hate being "crazy in love".

Sounds like a little bit of bitterness... :) But I have to agree, there are simple things that are really worth cherishing...like the power of touch.... :)

The most romantic thing I have ever done was when I gave my boyfriend a scrapbook. People may see it as simple and cheap but the content of which is far more valuable. In the scrapbook, I placed our first picture together which made the my boyfriend teary-eyed when he opened my gift for him. In the succeeding pages, more pictures of us were there. Beside the pictures, I wrote my letters and dedications for him. I feel glad that my lover appreciated my gift and he felt how great my love for him is.

Everyone needs love all kinds of evidence.Whether it's a flower, a walk on the beach or a gift given without any special occasion, we can not deny that this makes us beautiful days and give us the feeling that we wish. But the truth is that few of us make romantic gestures, perhaps because the rhythm of life. It's a shame, we should again become romantic, I think we would all be happy ... ..
