Yesterday I had a exam in my University. Its was mathematics and the paper was very tough. I exam was helding on our own seats. I take mathemtics help book from my bag and cheated from it. I solved 7 questions using cheating it was almost 35% of the whole paper. Today teacher give our test papers back and I was pass. After it I felt shame. Now I am not satisfied with my that action of cheating. What do think is cheating is a crime or not, or have you ever cheated in the exam.? How did you feel after cheating? Should I cheat or NOT?

I won't say that I never cheated, but it is not a good thing to do. One time there were four of us girls in my class that had to take a test. The other three needed to pass the test in order to be able to go onto the cheerleading squad. For some reason, they left us in a room alone together (no supervision) to take the test. For some reason, they trusted my answers. I showed my work on all of my problems even though my answers were wrong. The other girls just copied my answers even though some of them had the right answers and changed them to my answers and didn't show their work. I passed the test and the others did not because the teacher knew they had just put my answers. I can't say that I intentionally did it after that time, but I felt bad about it. It is not something I would recommend doing because it defeats the purpose of the test, which is to see what you know. If you don't know the answer, then you need to learn the information better.

Yes, i have did the same thing in my exam too. For me, the most important thing is to pass the exam. I will feel shame if i can't pass. Therefore, i will do any thing to pass my exam. Of course, i won't cheated in my every exam. Just subject that i can't master, or like you said, too tough.

I admit, I had cheated on exams before. But, I never looked at my notes, or cheatsheets, or books during the exams.. I usually get my answers from my seatmates, or friends... I just give them the number and they will give it to me, just as I will if they asked me a question which I know the answer to... I did that when I was in elementary and highschool, but when I reached college, I decided that it's time that I get to see my strengths and where do I need to study more so I did not cheat for my whole college years, and I am definitely proud of that.

Hi dears, Whatever you did cannot undo in this issue. Also, if regret on the same and go and report to the examiner, it will create further problems. As long as you find it is not good and felt bad on the same, don’t repeat further. You got experience and found the result and what you feel now is the net outcome. So, if you find such things are not good, in future try study well and write exams more concentrated. Even when I was a school boy I tried something like. But it is not so serious and for some class tests only. Major exams like public yearly exams, university exams, I never tired. There were major consequences if caught. They will cancel our registration and debar from writing the exam for 5 years. Also, copying is not a good idea. We will be much tensed and if the examiner is experienced and wise enough, looking on our face they can make out we are fraud and hiding something. Also, in the busy and tensed moments, the answer which we know also may not be able to write properly. I have come up with the same topic about 3 months back and all commented in the same way and the total conclusion was not to try copying and it will destroy our image if caught. We are self cheating knowingly and most cases we may clear exams but we don’t deserve the mark what we scored. As long as you felt bad, it is good enough and don’t try again. Try study as much you can and knowledge is import and exams are just a test only. If it is university exams, prepare well and try hard. Sure that you will pass and keep confidence on you. Best of luck and all the best for the next time. Regards, Thank-s

well cheating during exams is bad of course but for some it is a survival kit..haha..if they don't cheat then they fail.. but personally I don't cheat, merely because I'm a law abider. I'm scared for the consequences, so better study your lessons so you'll know what to answer

I don't think cheating in any way is good, I think maybe the only person you would be harming is yourself even though I think as I was at school most of the things I was taught and had exams for were pretty useless in future years...

I really am not going to take the moral high ground on this topic that I used to. The fact of the matter is this. The only people who are not doing themselves any favors are the ones that are in fact cheating. There will be a point in life where they would be trapped in a corner and there is no way they can cheat. That would lead to a lot of problems. And the more often that you cheat, the more often that you get caught. Before, I really got angry with cheaters, but really I do pity them. They could have worked hard and done things through honest methods. Therefore, they decided to slack and when the time came for exams, they could not really handle it. If you want to cheat, that's really your problem and not mine. Perhaps it will end up working for you. You might be the obvious except. Stranger things have happened in this world after all.

well, you feel guilty so it answers itself doesn't it? I personally don't cheat during exams, it really scares me sh*tless, (during high school I did try but...I always freeze every time my classmate passes a paper or whispers the answer) so instead of getting a good score I think I would fail and it would be a really big trouble if you get caught you know, teachers were students once, and we may be more cunning than you think we appear...we've been there, apparently I'm a teacher now, but I'm not trying to preach to you, because at the end your the only one who would know the answer...and the only one to face the consequences of actions you take...

I never cheat on examination during my younger years that's why I'm teaching my children to do the same. My highschool daughter has classmates surviving through cheating and sometimes managed to be included in the quarterly top 10. But in the long run, those kind of student cannot maintain their grades and eventually will be dropped down from the top 10.

hi there. i dont like cheating because i had this classmate who has been cheating not only in the exams but also when shes inside the Faculty room. well what i mean is, she would cheat during exams, gets a high score, then when she cant cheat, she gets a very very very low score not even 1/4 of the total items, but she was still able to pass the subject because well, she knows our instructor. it really is unfair because we struggle soo much just to pass but there are people who passes the classes because they know someone in the office etc etc. and during college, i was too scared to cheat, i would just sit in front, right in front of the teachers table so i wont get suspected of cheating. our instructors were like very strict, they were horrible heheh, they just get your paper and tear it right in front of the class when she catches you cheating. sometimes i think they are not even sure if the student is cheating. ugh im just glad i am done with school. so i think you should just study more rather than cheat and have that guilty feeling in the end, and at least after the exams, you feel good because you did it yourself out of your hard work :) good luck.

For the record, I've cheated on exams before. I would say I really didn't care because it was only a minor subject and that everyone could actually pass it without cheating. I just felt bad afterwards because I got a higher score than the rest of my classmates who actually took time to study. I just felt like it was really unfair for them. Personally, I think that cheating is a crime - a mortal sin at that and it can never be justified by a good intention. Cheating is something that when practiced with small things evolves into a higher form. And I believe that when you cheat on something other people work hard for, you won't really feel that much fulfilled when it's all over and you'll end up not learning anything in the process. Bottomline is DON'T CHEAT. It won't take you anywhere.

People get educated to broaden their thinking and what is the use of cheating. If someone is cheating than he should be asking to himself that whom he is fooling. If he gets the answer for this question than that is it.
