Some good news for a change

So my toe is doing better now, not hurting any more and i am able to walk. Also my girlfriend's operation was a success, and no further complications were found, and so we went on and gave the travel agency lady the green light for preparing the papers for our summer vacation this year.
Also remember that friend's cousin with the leg problem i was telling you about ? He was reluctant to go to the only national doctor that could do the operation he required due to mishaps during high school between them, but he went for the operation as well, and all is well now, but the doctor did tell him that had he delayed only a few months longer, he would have risked permanent injuries.
So do you have any plans for the upcoming summer ? Going Anywhere ?
How about any recent good news from your part, is the spring looking up for you as well ?

Hello elitess. It is good news to hear that things on your side are getting better as well as those on your girlfriend's successful operation. The good news from my part is that my wife will come to work in our school next month. I have called my boss and she has agreed to offer a post for my wife. Now I am getting ready to buy some more electrical stuff like e-bike and the like. With the coming of spring here, it is getting warmer and warmer. Take care.

Thank you for the best response, elitess. I am glad to let you know that we have already bought three necessary e-stuff for our daily use, an e-bike in good quality, a washing machine and a refrigerator. As to my wife's job, it is still waiting to be approved. My wife has decided not to work so soon, but to take good care of my little baby as my avatar as well as me. I am happy for it because this way it makes my life much easier. When my baby is three years old or more, we will consider sending him to a kindergarten and my wife will try to find a job. I hope you are getting on well with you and things around you. Take care, friend.

Winter just got BACK here, with snow all over the place (although march should be the 1st month of spring as well, but i have a feeling that early march will still be very clold here).
It is good that she got a job close to you, that way you'll have more time together, but you already know that :)

Congrats on you, your girlfriend, and friend's recovery! Wow, so much injuries in one gathering. I'm glad you can all take a breather and vacation. I don't really have plans for the summer yet. I guess I sort of stopped planning and live day by day now... but I hope I can go visit the beach, haven't done that for a while.

That's good news about your friend, and maybe he learned something about human nature as well, that people don't necessarily hold grudges for years and years. Good for him for getting the surgery!
Good news here is that nothing has changed much in my life. The bad news is my sons are having troubles, my ex is having troubles, my mom is deteriorating (she's 86) and so is my dad at 89. My stepmom is at least doing well! And I am in good health so I really can't complain. Spring is coming, all my problems are temporary so life is good!

Hello my dear dragon, i am glad that you personally are doing well.
You should consider yourself lucky to have the both of them, my mother and father both lost their dads in the '90 one year after the other, near or ON Christmas. I hardly remember one of my grandfathers - i only have a memory with him.
I don't know about spring coming though, winter is just back on track here, although march SHOULD bring spring and some other mylot-er from the USA was just saying yesterday that winter is announced to come back with snow there as well.
