why the internet users are addicted to different websites, games, etc. on using internet connection, compared when the internet is just basic to use. Maybe the internet nowadays is more complicated and interesting so many people try to find our more what inside the internet. How about you, please answer the question above.

In today's used of internet comparing it when it was being developed in the late
1990s, is a huge different. First of all the internet was intended to developed as
a way of collaboration tool among scientist in the field of research.
Developed by a research scientist from CERN or the European Organization for
Nuclear Research, Sir Tim Berners-Lee. He developed the internet to make it
as a collaboration tool by having a link of all research accessible anywhere
have an access to a network.
The internet is at first intended to be developed as a communication tool
for collaboration among all research institution having it accessible to
to a network of computer among the scientist. And also the popularity of the
personal computer is lately developed the ones by which we used today's where
the most of computers at that time is in the hands of government, military
and research institution.
When the personal computers being introduced commercially to the public the
internet was being commercially developed and when Bill Gates Microsoft Windows Operating System was available with regards to the internet explorer being
developed as a web browser application where you can have access the internet.
And also with the development of communication technology such as the mobile
network in which we can now just surf in a handheld device such as smartphones
and tablet pc and the creation of the social media by which most of us
spending online that is why internet is becoming an addicting comparing in
the old days.

I think there's just a big range here and everyone and anyone, young, old, disabled, can take advantage of the internet and connect with others alike. there is so much to do and so many people to connect with through it.

it is said that knowledge is POWER, we know that through the internet we will learn a lot and almost all so that is why people are getting addictive to it because we are craving for power, we are craving for knowledge. that is the best reason that i can think of. imagine there are some people who can stay infront of their computer for more than 12 hours just for the sake of surfing the internet. :D
