Democrat Rep. Capuano tells protesters to "get bloody"

Yup, Rep Capuano, who only a few short months ago was blaming Sarah Palin for the Arizona shooting and saying she needs to tone down her rhetoric, told a bunch of union protesters to get in the streets and get bloody. Apparently a map "targeting" districts is violent rhetoric, but telling angry protesters to get in the streets and get bloody is just fine. http://nhjournal.com/2011/02/23/dem-rep-to-unions-time-to-get-%E2%80%98bloody%E2%80%99/

I'm sorry, were you expecting something other then hypocrisy? Looking too long at the double standards gets be maddening. In the end it's just rhetoric though. I don't see anything wrong with metaphors and the like, personally I think that people need to get over their sensitivity. That said I believe that civility and respect should play a role in the interactions of politicians. I wonder if they forget that they are chosen to represent the people and when they're two-faced and hypocritical they're disrespecting all of their constituents. It's just another example of how untrustworthy politicians are.

"In the end it's just rhetoric though." Exactly. And if some SEIU thug beats someone up during these protests it's that thug's fault, not the fault of a hypocritical congressman. I just love highlighting the hypocrisy. It was comical when I kept posting a DNC target map referring to it as Sarah Palin's and asking if they really thought that specific map was violent. They all insisted it was and not one of them realized that it wasn't Palin's map despite the fact that I kept asking them "Are you sure THIS map could drive someone to kill?"

This is the guy the Dems are planning to run against Scott Brown in the next election. He's cut from the MA Dem cloth, he's classic. Only the local Fox station made this a big story and in the interview he did one of those "I regret the words" without ever actually apologizing. I am afraid that it is going to get bloody, somewhere, one day soon. There is just too much going on and too many groups coming out to shout and party.

Okay, "get bloody" can mean just about anything. I don't think that it was right of him to say it. Honestly, I am sick and tired of this party garbage, and this pointing fingers BS because it is things like this that lead to the problems that we have in this country right now.

Of course it can mean anything rogue. My point was that this guy was calling a target map "violent rhetoric" when Sarah Palin made one and now he's saying protesters should get bloody as if there's nothing violent implied with that. Personally I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with his wording. It's his hypocrisy that bothers me.

It's funny how so few people who say they support Obama actually listen to a word he says. Talk about an ineffective president!

I know. It seems like whenever Obama says or does something that everyone should agree with, his left wing followers completely blow him off. That's why I keep saying he's not the leader of the Democrats, he's just a tool or, more accurately, a meaningless figurehead.

Seeing that violence begets violence, I say bring it on. We need a good bloodbath to teach these liberal loonies their place. I have long believed that it is long past time for the conservatives to get militant with these idiots, as it is the only way to protect our rights and freedoms. Everywhere that these social activists gather and mob, the conservatives must answer in force with force. The time has come to outlaw the outlaw groups known as unions and to put their leaders in prison where they belong. I say fight fire with fire... if the liberals want violence, then I say give them more than they can handle. I personally am quite tired of the conservatives apparent inability to fight back. Contrary to popular belief, violence is the final answer, whether it is through war or in answer to the abuse of political power or the excesses of bad government. Rep. Capuano should be charged with inciting violence and thoroughly investigated as a potential terrorist for her rhetoric. Let the streets run red with liberal blood...

Well either act is not a good act defending yourself is one thing but with the Unions past history not sure if it is the smartest Idea to tell them to get bloody. As I said in my post below Unions when they where first starting did get bloody on many occasions. Talking of killing liberals is a little out of control and well coming from the user it is I wouldn't be surprised if he/she went out and did something crazy and out of control. I was raised under the Defend your self from a person who is attacking you and don't start the fight but always know how to finish it.

Metaphorically speaking:If a bully is allowed to go on bullying, and not stopped by someone bigger and badder, is the world a better place? As a Christian I know deep in my heart that love is the answer to the human condition. But I also know that people have a sorry understanding of what real love is and means. Is it loving to allow the victims of that bully to go on suffering because no one is stopping him? Soemtimes, regrettably force has to meet force. And if the unions use physical force to bully people, which from experience first and second hand I know they do, then it's time to stop them from being bullys in my opinion. I always told my children to turn the other cheek, to be kind to those who were unkind to them. Then one day one of my sons said to me (when he was about 14), he said, Mom, I have been turning the other cheek, but I ONLY have two and they've both been slapped. Now what do I do? I told him to defend himself.

To paraphrase a well-known saying, "No-one ever went broke over-estimating the hypocrisy of the Far Left." I think for Leftists to be able to utter their contradictory statements with a straight face, they must surely convince themselves they are correct, & to do that, they must be completely separating one part of their brain for another. Or maybe it's really more simple. They think lying out of both sides of their mouths is perfectly ethical if it promotes the cause du jour. Kind of like a Western version of the Muslim practice of taqiyya...(or however it's spelled...anyway, it's the permission Allah gives to the Muslim to deceive those in power over him, until Muslims outnumber the infidels, at which point he reveals his true nature, & forces the infidel to convert, or die). Of course, the Far Left "mainstream" government media lackeys will never point this out... Maggiepie "(Jews) should get the Hell out of Palestine...they should go home...to Poland, & Germany, & America..." ~ Helen Thomas, former reporter...another "tolerant," anti-Semitic Leftist

I will never condone violence of any kind. Having said that, something needs to be done. People need to do something. Emails and Faxs are not getting the job done. Getting out in the street and stopping traffic and carrying signs should do a bit more. I am sick of elected officials getting into office and then ripping us off. They are total jerks and this is true in every state. If this is not stopped now, It will snowball and happen everywhere. It is like the sit-ins of the 60's only in reverse. Idiots....
