Choosing special food when traveling

I have just welcome a friend from Denmark. She has a short traveling to my country for working and vacation.
She very likes to go the restaurant here and choosing all special food in the menu. I notice that all disks have a name with "Vietnamese...." such as "Vietnamese spring roll", "Vietnamese pancake", etc...
She also likes our wine. A type of wine was made by rice and enzyme.
I think that if I would be in her country, I also choose the special food from menu.
How are you? Are you interesting the special food where you'll go to?

I love to travel and part of my interest are eating the food from the country. I also ask the waiter to explain as much as posible. I feel it is part of learning a country´s culture and most of the time they are delicious.
When I travel with friends, they know that I ask so much that I will probably get the yummiest dish from the menu

When I visit another country I love to eat the local food, I think it is a great chance to eat some food that I can't find in my own country. Last year I travelled around in Europe for one month and I got the chance to visit many different countries. In every country I chose the local restaurants instead of the big chain restaurants that also exist in my own country. I had a lot of delicious food that way. I am a little sad that some of that food isn't avaiable in my own country, because it was really delicious

Why you don't learn how to cook them? You can enjoy them with your family when you came back after the traveling!

I'm too. I rarely travel oversea. But I often travel domestic. Every local has private food and they're very delicious. I love them.
China have many delicious and strange disks. I wish i can enjoy them at China

If I were to travel, I would definitely be trying the food and the best delicacy from that country or place. I would never let it pass since it's very rare that I go to a specific place. I will be trying their food and go to the best places there. It's a ones in a lifetime experience so we should not let it pass.

its correct since i like to prefer hambu food while travelling to srilanka and other place where one would ideally like to try new varieties with ease

Whenever i go and visit places i make sure that i tried their specialty. I ask my friends what are the best food in that particular place and the place (restaurant) where to eat their local delicacies. i love eating. and i enjoy trying different foods. and i even buy some for my family.

I am very keen on traveling to different countries. I am a very fussy eater and I have a vegan diet. Therefore I try to take as many vegan foods with me as possible. I go on local supermarkets plus fruit and vegetable stands. There I can get some things suitable for me to eat. On my last trip my supplies of vegan food from home went short. I ate fruit plus found some cereal and fruit bars to eat. I like pasta if I go to Italy and they have some excellent fruit.
