I have done that before successfully got rid of an old couch and a new table. Recently, I want to get rid of another couch to get some space for my baby to play in the living room. I want to put the alphabet mat on the floor for him. Have you done that before? What did you sell?

Yeah, there'll be insertion fess & final value fees & all those stuff but it depends how you list your items ( in what categories & starting price )

There have been times in the past I have Sold things on Craigslist and will probably try and sell some more things there soon as well. I also use other sites as well to sell things, and always looking for others as well. Personally it can be interesting trying to sell and do things there as you never know what type of traffic you might actually get.

I like Cragilist is because it doens't charge you anything to post so I use it. I don't want to pay for sellingjust a couple of things.

Yes, I've done that before. I've sold a few vehicles (cars, trucks, a motorcycle, and a scooter) and some game tickets on craigslist. As it is I currently have a few things I want to sell. I just haven't gotten around to listing them yet. LOL Happy mylotting!

I moved over a year ago and I tried to get rid of a bunch of stuff my roommates left in the apartment and put it on craigslist but didn't get any offers. I ended up putting it up on freecycle. I got about 16 people email me saying they would pick up the stuff only two people showed up. I ended up giving the rest to Salvation Army. I had a couch, chairs, bedding, a computer, printer, ironing board iron, dishes, pots, Dirt Devil, so much stuff my roommates just left and didn't want to take it with them.

We had lots of stuff that wnated to get rid of as well but didn't bother putting them on Craiglist because they were so cold, they don't worth anything so we just donate them to the Salvation Army as well, it is good, we can get tax reduction on it. Sometimes people say they will show up, but they never do.

I have tried to sell stuff, but nothing has sold. Right now I plan on posting more, some of which is more interesting stuff... I tend to lean towards using Ebay because of the higher amount of views, but I hate Ebay because of the charges... and then PayPal charges on top of that. :(

Craigslist is actually one of my favorite sites. I have sold a bought a couple of things there. I sold an old chest-type deep freezer that I no longer needed, and I also sold a set of cabinets and a shower stall that I took out of a building that I remolded as well. I have bought a couple of things off craigslist as well, most of which were tools or other small items. I also find a lot of scrap metal to haul, and some other odd jobs by using craigslist, so overall, it is a pretty useful site for me...

I tried to sell one things just one time on there. It was a brand new car seat really nice, worth over 100 dollars I was selling it for $20. Nobody bought it. I was really surprised as it is (I still have it) a really nice car seat and at $20 bucks it was a steal, but no takers. So that was the first and last time I tried to sell something there.

Yes! I love selling on Craigslist. I do really well when we're selling lots of furniture before a move. Before our last move I sold 2 couches, tables, a bed, etc. etc. I actually can't even remember everything we sold! It's a great way to sell and get rid of items though. I've only ever had good experiences too *knock on wood.* Don't know what I'd do without Craigslist!

When you get buyers that will really show up will be good. Some people just say they are coming to pick up but would never show up.

I've used craigslist to sell some old stuff I don't want or use, like vinyl LPs, VHS tapes, etc. I once had an inquiry about some exercise tapes from someone did not live in the area, so she sent me the cash money and a SASE to send them to her. I once listed a rather expensive item and it generated a couple of convoluted inquiries (from overseas -- imagine that!) about how they would pay me by check through a company and gave me a link through which I would receive the check, and I could wait until the check 'cleared', yada...yada...yada. It screamed SCAM! I replied they could send me an personal check which would include service charges for processing, S&H, any extra fees of my determination, and once I had cashed the check at a bank of my choosing, we would talk business. Needless to say, I got no response to that. So remember that those bottom-feeders lurk everywhere waiting to pounce on unsuspecting prey, even craigslist.

It is alright but not great. There are scams on there as well, just be very careful.
