This whole week I've been getting my days mixed up. Tuesday night I woke up in the very early morning when I heard a truck outside my house. I thought it was the garbage truck. I was so mad at myself for forgetting to put the garbage out. Then I realize wait its not friday yet... Thursday night I was sitting at my computer thinking darn its so cold I wish I didnt have to put the garbage out. I took my housecoat off and slipped and slipped on my boots and put my hair up. I was about to put my coat on when I realized its not friday yet.... SO it is finally friday and in an hour or so I will finally be taking out the garbage on the correct night. Hopefully after this I will stop being so confused about what day it is lol. Do you do this? Have a week where you just cant keep your days straight? Does it drive you nuts as it does me?

Yes, I've done it many times. Especially if there was a holiday and there was no work one day or someone else was home because they didn't have work. It sucks if you think it's already friday when it's really still monday.. but it's cool if you think it's monday and it's actually friday.

When I used to work every morning when I went into work I had to write the date on the dry erase board along with the lunch menu for the day. So I always knew what day it was. Once I quit working is when I started getting confused and not remembering what day it was. I think its because every day is pretty much the same.

Sometimes I do this on a payday week. Specially if there is something I would like to buy, and I would need the pay so I don't buy the thing on credit. I would dream that it's alreay friday. And then kick myself because I am getting way ahead of myself.

Most people have said they do this when they get a day off work that they dont usually have. In your case its not that its just when you have something you want to buy so you have to work to get the money. That makes sense to get so exicted about buying something that you start thinking its closer to the day you can buy it. I do that when I am hopeful for something as well.

My husband usually gets Wednesdays off, but last week and next week he gets Thursday off. That always throws us off when he gets a day off that isn't a Wednesday. By Wednesday we start thinking it's Friday.. then on Friday we're thinking it's only Thursday.

Yes its thinks like that which throw my thinking off as well. It will make me so confused when I get the days mixed up. Its usually just a momentary thing but its still frusterating. Today is saturday and last night was garbage night I think I'm back on track now.

Haha, you sound confused LOL. I've had days like that. It's usually when a holiday happens, or when I have a day off work - it throws my entire week off as I feel a day behind schedule. I haven't felt that way lately though..Haven't really had a day off in a while though, either.

Well my friend usually comes over on Saturday nights but this past week he came over on Sunday night. He wondered if that is why it threw my week off and I keep getting confused about what day it is. Its entirely possible but I think once the garbage is out tonight I will get back to realizing what day it is lol since I know the garbage goes out on friday and thats today :)

Hi,shaggin! Yeah,it happens to me sometimes.Especially in a long vacation.Usually during the vacations,I just stay at home, play computer, read books, and sleep. And I don't need to remember the date at all.And sometimes I just forget what day it is.But I don't really need to worry about that since I live with my parents during vacations and I'm still a student. So my parents will basically take care of everything. And in my country,we don't have the garbage trucks coming to pick up the trash. So I don't realize any inconvenience of mixing my days up as long as I remember when I should go back to school. Have a nice day!

Hmm if you dont have garbage trucks come to pick up the trash what do you do with it? Here in the town I live in we put it out on the curb on friday nights and about 5am saturday morning they come by with the garbage trucks and take away the garbage. We dont have any recycling :(

This week has been the most peculiar for me as well. It just seems as though the time is all out of wack. IDK I so thought I missed quite a few meetings yesterday and beat myself up all day for it. But late last night I finally figured out late last night that they weren't scheduled until today. LOL I amused myself at my forgetting for a moment and moved on. It seems to be happening to me a lot this year. Yes, it can drive me a bit nuts sometimes.

On thursday I had an appointment at the wic office but since I didnt check my schedule I didnt notice the appointment until a half an hour before. Due to that since I hadent gotten dressed or put any makeup on I couldnt get there in time so I had to call and reschedule. I rescheduled it for Monday and I hope I dont forget the appointment this time.

Hi dears, I think your mind is haunted or hunting for something all the time. Even the days also forget and somehow realise, again you get absent minded. Something seriously troubling you too much and it is the symbol of the same. Rarely it happens to me as well. Especially, if I take an off on any of the week days, I will count the off day as Saturday and the rest of the few days would count from Saturday and suddenly I try things which are to be done on certain other days. Once I took an off on Thursday and on Saturday morning I got up as usual and got ready to go to office and while taking bath only I realise that it was Saturday and I need not to got to office! So, in your case, if it again repeats, I think you need a break and have trip to somewhere as a picnic and get fresh up and come out of all moody minds. Best of luck and have a nice day. Regards, Thank-s

I think that is a lot of the problem I've been kind of stressed lately about money and what I am going to be doing with the next few years of my life and what I am going to do after those few years. Its a lot to think about. I think I'm just worried and its kind of throwing my thinking off.
