my baby squirrel passed away

I am sorry to say you that my 3 weeks old weaned baby squirrel died today . It opened its eyes yesterday. I felt very sad as I cann't save him. He got some disease like Pneumonia or aspirated some milk.
I don't know whether I tried my bes to save ....only god knows...what ever I lost my cute pet.

I am sorry you lost your baby. Saving wild animals is very difficult and even those who are experts and have all the necessary equiptment often loose them. Don't feel too bad, Mother Natures takes care with these little delicate beings and makes sure that even though many die young there are many who don't and the species is protected. Next time you get this chance to save one give it all the love and experience you learned with this one. Blessings

We can think that it is a fate which happens in nature. But here developed a bond between us. He liked to creep on my hands and he enjoyed my presents...

Good day, Black_Panther, I truly am sorry, for the loss of this little person! You did your best, and possibly there was an underlying health issue before your intervention! Mother Nature and animal lovers..truly "thank you" for your best efforts! Do you have a "Wildlife Rescue Center" near you? Some of them offer to come to your community, with weekend courses related to best methods of survival, foods..and even proper transportation methods! Many years ago, I was able to take the course...and it was truly helpful. Please try and have a good weekend!

I will try to take courses of wildlife emergencies when ever possible.There is no wild life rescue center near me. I will go in search for such institutions.
