                    Hi ifa
Well, when my grandfather had his first heart attack, he was told to avoid a lot of items on his menu of food and milk was one. Here in India, and in our family (during those days) we used cow's milk and that was fresh (meaning not from a dairy where they pasteurize it or tone it). That milk was high in proteins and so was a NO for the diet.
Today we mostly get the Dairy Milk - which has quite a less amount of fats and proteins and so the doctors allow it.
But yes, I have a point (from my experience - though I am not suffering from cholesterol issues, but still have been asked not to consume milk products) - My doctor (gastroenternologist) said that different bodies have different metabolism and so the diets are different. What is harmful for one may not be harmful for the other even if we are having same health issues. Going by this, consult a doctor before deciding whether to go for milk or not

                            Hi Kalyni
my sister got cancer, she is not allowed to drink milk cause the doctor afraid that the milk can cause the cancer to be more productive in producing the dangerous cell. i think it is wise to not drink it till we know that is really safe.
thanks for the response too

Milk is not the problem. It's the processed foods. Donuts, cake, candy, cookies, ice creams, potato chips, fatty meats, and let's not forget all that sugar like in soft drinks. On top of all that, people are overweight couch potatoes. Eat foods not processed. If it comes like God made it, it will be much healthier for you. Best is to grow your own garden!!! Eat those VEGGIES!!

I think it just depends on how many glasses we drinking a cow milk a day. The maximum is 2 glasses a day for health people, but for unhealth people they can change with the plain cow milk or soya milk. Milk has a little cholesterol when compared with egg. Have a nice day.

I am a health care provider but with regards to milk having cholesterols? I don't know about it.lol. But how come the doctor advises some other patients to drink milk? If that has cholesterol and could possibly cause heart attack? What is the speakers explanation about this?

                            Hi rage,
the speaker said that cow's milk contain cholesterol cause animal got heart. only animal who have heart could produce cholesterol, while the milk from vegetable like soy for example do not contain any cholesterol. and the milk from any animal is not good for your health if you had cancer or heart attack.
mean time, my sister had cancer. and her doctor advised her to not drink milk until they clear the cancer in her body.

The safest answer to this is: it depends. Every human body is unique. It is hard to say that you can get cancer out of milk alone. The body's genetic composition plays a big role. It is true though that milk has cholesterol because it is an animal product. All animal products has cholesterol.
