Anybody here working in Amazon Mechanical Turk

I used to work in this site and my earning was accumulated there. It pays as Gift certificates too using which one can buy so many things from them. I had requested them to send my dues via cheque in Indian rupees, it is permitted. They sent the cheque but it got lost, I requested second time, they sent, luckily I got it, though it was not ‘Registered’ letter. They charged Processing fee: - US$ 4.00, and paid via Citybank cheque, I got the money in rupees in my bank account here. [b]One can do there various kinds of tasks depending upon capability and knowledge. Hope this discussion doesn’t get deleted. Please respond.[/b]Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

I'm a member of this site but only got cents in my account due to my very schedules in school I haven't got extra time to do some minute jobs there. So I guess after graduating this April I might go back to Mechanical Turk and continue what I have started. And it is nice to know that you have a good feedback about them.

I highly believe that if we work hard, we should be able to earn good via Amazon MTurk . No need to find referrals or making investment, just do jobs by ourselves It just they only pay via Amazon Gift Cards for members from my country, so I don't really like to work in Amazon MTurk..

I mainly do surveys or article writing as these pay better but I'll do the smaller tasks depending on how quickly they can be done.I don't work for a cent a time if I can help it. I've got $160 which I transferred to Amazon vouchers since I spend a small fortune on there then it means I can save the money I would've spent. I'm in the UK so that is the only way of getting payment. It's a shame that they don't pay into your bank account like they do in the State.

I've actually made a fair amount of money through this site in the past, but I haven't had the time to dedicate to it lately. That said, I've never taken my payment in the form of cash because I do a lot of shopping through Amazon and I opt to take mine as shopping credit and use it toward my purchases. In fact, I've spent over $500 on Amazon in the last year and I haven't had to spend a dime out of my pocket in that time.

Hi prof, I used it. But I am not happy with it because most of the tasks are worth only few cents and we have to spend a lot of time and hard work on it to get these one or two cents. So I stopped using it.

I use this site, and I have to say that it is a good site. You can make a good amount if you put the effort in. So far I have been mostly doing the low paying tasks that give you 5-15 cents. But they are quick and easy, you can complete them in less then a min, and be on to the next one. It depends on how much time and effort you are willing to put in. I've heard of some people who make $250 a week on MTurk. It's a great option to make some extra cash.
