It's early in the morning and i received a text message or sms from my phone that made my blood boil. The message says hello with my first name on it and added: Can i f*ck you? My phone number is private and i have not given it to anybody nor written it online. The person is from my country because he was speaking in our native language. So it really makes me wonder how he got my number. I have another number which i usually give to online friends, but not my private number that only my family knew about. I know that message is not worth replying to but then it somehow pissed me off today. Right now i am thinking of sending him a God bless you message...

You are right. I ignored the message and now he's not sending anything at all. But i'm worried that he might do so again next time.

You ought to send him a message back, with the police knocking onto his front door! This is sick! I would like to know how did someone get your phone number to text you a message at all. This person had to have access to your personal information. This is really weird. I hope that you can find out whom sent this nasty message to you. This is quite a mystery! Just be very careful because you don't know who this person really is. Or where he is at.

I don't understand how some people like that think those type of things are funny. It's so immature.

I agree with you. I believe he's not only immature but got a puny brain and a puny d##k too. I really want to tell him that but then he would reply and that would make us interact and he would be happy to know that somehow he has affected me somehow. So it's better to ignore him.

Hello there! That is really bad early in the morning! These days there are really people who want to piss of others. It might be that he stole your number from one of your friends or family members. People who cannot do anything good in their life are good in this. If only their are ways to let these people be punished, I think the use of cellphones would be more responsible bu the users. How I wish this could be traced! You are not the only victim of these irresponsible texting. I was once too! Really

A message like that would really upset me big time. I would want to text that person back and really get angry with them, but then again, that may not solve anything. I think your idea of saying Gog Bless You is a good idea, as that would probably shock that person straight for sure. I suppose the best thing to do besides that would be just to ignore that person, and hopefully, that person will just give up and leave you alone. What would bother me is how he could get the phone number in the first place, as I know that cell phone providers won't give out that information to anyone who asks for it. I just hope that person leaves you alone and never bothers you again. Take care, and have a very good day.

Thank you. I did send him a God bless you message and ignored his messages after that. I think he's rotten to the core as the message i sent him didn't affect him at all. He doesn't have a conscience maybe or he doesn't believe in God. There's no point in communicating with him at all. He's crazy. and yes it really bothers me how he got my private number.

It may be made by those who envy you. if you feel there are some people today who do not like you?. if the message comes only once, it does not matter. But if it continues to bother you better change telephone numbers.

My number is postpaid so i cannot change that fast or easily. I can't think of anybody who would envy me since i don't leave the house nor meet my friends anymore. I don't have a lot of chance to interact with people except online but i talk to foreigners mostly. There's no way that person was a foreigner because he can fluently express himself well with dirty talks in our national language.

I would be pretty ticked off if I received that message on my phone as well and had no idea who it was from. If it had your name on it then it seems the person obviously knew who they were sending the message to which makes it even creepier that you dont know who it was.

Sending him a "God bless you message" would be the perfect way to tell him off and take the high road at the same time. lol

Any response from you might encourage this jerk, so I would ignore it. But honestly, my fertile mind came up with a snappy answer I'd be tempted to use: Question from caller: Can I **** you? (In other words, is this person capable of this act?" Obvious Answer: "Probably not!" LOL To paraphrase, "Those who can, do, those who can't, send stupid text messages." ;-)

oh dear the teens today just dont realize the ill effects... I like your approach of sending this "God Bless You" message BUT... to this pervert it will mean something totally unthinkable and that will invite more troubles for you(actually both but I am concerned with you not the sender of this). Why not wait for the next sms and then lodge a police case

It is pointless to seek police assistance in this case because in my country people can just change sim card easily and there's no way to trace who the sender is. Police would only tell me to ignore such message and they wouldn't do anything about it at all.

Wow that would really piss me off too. I think the best thing to do would be to just ignore that a**hole. He/she has a lot of time to mess with people's mind but we don't have time to waste on such nonsense sh*ts. Something similar happened to me once too

It's best not to mind the text. However, this is one of the reasons why I support the need to register pre-paid sim cards. It will definitely lessen this kind of behavior as their identities would not be anonymous anymore. Just in case it is a post paid number, you could report it to the service provider or the DOTC and the user will be given a warning if the number would not be blocked immediately. Any response might give the sender a wrong idea after all...

That has to be annoying and maybe I could suggest for you to contact your cell phone provider and have the number blocked from you phone. I don't think it is worth responding because it will lead to further pestering.

There are a lot of loony everywhere in the world. I got not one, not 2.. I got offers. My ex bf placed my number on a W*ore site.( what an A- hole!) I listed down all the numbers on stickies and post them at the back of public cr, public bus, on a post together with the wanted plumber, need job? To my ex bf who did that to me, I posted his number on a men's cr in their office!
