Hi everyone! I have had a problem for the last couple of days. I don't know if it is a stomach flu or whatever. I have been very belchy for the last couple of days and I also have not been able to eat a full meal without feeling just short of pukey. I feel hungry but I can't eat very much. I'm not sure if it is related to my cancer, the colostomy, or something I ate or if it is just the flu or something else. I am hoping that I can get back to normal pretty soon. This is also making it hard for me to sleep. If I don't feel better by Monday, I will be calling the doctor. Of course, right now the only doctor that I see any more is my gyn/onc. I need to call her anyway to find out when the chemo is starting. I just hope this isn't related to the cancer because that would not be good. Have a great day!!!

Hopefully it's not the cancer. I understand why you are concerned. I would be scared too. Keep us informed on what you find out . Hopefully they start your chemo soon. They are taking so long to start.Hopefully you get to feeling better soon.

I hope not too. I guess for the rest of today, I will keep my eating to a minimum and see if that helps. Thanks for the response!

Thank you for the best response. I'm so happy for you that you don't have cancer now.It will be nice if it stays that way. I will still be praying for you about your other health situations. It's been cool getting to know you. You are such a good person. I will continue reading your discussions and try my best to answer them.

I don't know what to say why you are feeling that way. You can feel that way if you have a virus in you or even constipated. I'm not sure if it's anything related to your cancer. But you will probably feel that way once the chemo kicks in.... my IL's between the two of them lost 100lbs while they were battling cancer.

This morning it is even worse. It is definitely not constipation. More like diarrhea. There were a couple of times when I tried to sleep last night that I felt like I was going to throw up but didn't. Now my stomach actually hurts. I will be calling the doctor in another hour or so to see if I can get any answers about this. I don't think they will let me start chemo if I'm feeling like this anyway. That is the main reason I will make the call, but I will ask about this problem and getting something to help me sleep as well. I ran out of the pills she gave me last month and I haven't slept more than maybe an hour each night since then. Thanks for the response!

There is a strong possibility that it was something I ate because it started the day after I had a grilled chicken sandwich at the truck stop restaurant next to the motel I stay at. I will still contact my gyn/onc tomorrow and discuss it with her since that is my only medical contact now and I need to talk to her about something else. Thanks for the response!
