Can anyone tell me why I can't add html to my profile?

I don't know. I've tried lots of times to get my url on my profile too but couldn't figure out how to do it. I could get the sortie to show up but after putting the url on there it wouldn't stay even after saving it.I later on figured out how to get it to stay because noone mentioned this part . I found this out myself accidentally.After you figure out how to get the sortie to show up make sure you choose your colors that you are going to highlight it in before you save it. Then it saves.I don't know why the sortie isn't adding for you. All I had to do was go to my profile, press edit profile.The on the upper right it says add content and then press that and then say add sortie and then put your url in that sortie and put pick what colors you want your sortie to be and then save.Hopefully you can figure it out. At least I could get the sortie to show up when I couldn't get it to work. Hopefully you can figure it out soon.

i had same problem ,what i did was coping Html of banner many times till it works and appears... so try and give me feed back

I have had the same problem, and have tried different browsers as well. I follow the directions very closely, and nothing happens at all. It is almost like it "freezes" somewhere in the transmission. I hope someone can figure out a way to fix this because it will really help me too! Thanks for posting this question.

Hmm... interesting. I've had some problems with adding htmls in my profile before, but now I think I've got things down already... In any case, my problem with it was different from yours... Hmm... I was going to write here what I do in case it helps. But I reread your post and you said there is no reason to hahaha. =P And anyway, it's probably no help since the problem is different... And now I'm just rambling hahaha. I'd better go. =P But before I do, I'll just say... try and try again! Maybe you'll be lucky next time! Haha! =D
