What's the wrong with mylot?

Hi everyone.... I would not start this discussion if i have not to suffer it three times within last 15 days. Within last fortnight, i have started several discussions... but three of them are not displaying on my profile page. If you click on "discussion i have started" option, then you will not find them. the first one... http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2496084.aspx
Alice was concerned about this matter and said that this problem will be solved. But again, this one...

A friend suggested me to see is my "mature content" already allowed or not? I replied yes because there are some discussions which are in my profile related to mature content. yet, the third one....

Again, from last 6th march... no mylot notification is sent to my mail. I am really in trouble. oh... no. Are there anybody suffering the same? Please reply. What's the wrong here?

No iam very comfortable with mylot its nice website but i feel very sad for as i dnot found any of your discussions sorry to say that but its working well with me may be something gonw wrong with your discussions

Yes, those three do not show on your profile page. Something must have gone wrong with the system. No worry. Write a mail to the admin or GoAskAlice. Hopes things would be alright.

It's unusual to hear about that my friend. It never happened to me for more than 3 years. Although I didn't saw my discussions on my profile if it's about for mature post. You are unlucky to have this error on your account. Don't worry my friend it will be fixed at soonest possible. Admin will not stop to fixed your issue.

Hoping that problem will be sorted out soonest possible, I think that is a glitches of myLot that need for immediate action. So far and I hope I will not experience the same or I didn't observed it because I am too busy and I didn't monitor my posted discussions.

All the three links showed their being their. Now what is your problem? Is it that they are not showing on 'Discussion I have started'?
Would it make any difference?

Maybe it should get sorted out soon then. If others have the same problem it will get fixed. If I can´t find that one I go to another one of yours or someone else´s and that´s it.
I did have this problem before with another mylotter Friend too so I answered other ones that she had started and I still can´t find the other ones but that was ages ago so now they will not even be there I suppose. Well I am only supposing.
When I post sometimes it does not update right away either that does not bother me now as it will turn up later in the Day.
However it does not turn up at all why not rephrase the discussion you started with a different Header and see if that works?
Hope you find the original ones though I know that you are working and studying a lot I just don´t know how you keep up with everything. Don´t work too hard then.

Hi angel...
As i have seen in this entire discussion... no one is suffering from the same problem but the main problem is notification. The last notification that i received from mylot was 6th march.
Well angel, i am on bed rest from last 8 march due to a minor accident. So, i have not to go to my college, hence i have available time now and my research work is almost 95% complete. Now DTP is running on... so enough time now. Hope you are fine. Take care and have a nice day.

Really I have not had much chance to take a look at anybody else´s Profile very much just lately anyway.
Today for example I am supposed to be doing letters for Jorge and I cannot settle to do them nor tomorrow either but the Day after I will be back to doing them and more organized and more my usual self.
Did you find your discussions then? Did they turn up?
I knew about your accident as you told me somewhere else and that you were recovering fast. Good news that. I need a new pair of Ears (grin) got any spare ones going?

I am also having a problem with mylot but it is of different kind.I had started one discussion and respond to several other discussion but my no of post doesn't increasing at all.I don't know how to contact the admin of this site.Does anybody having idea how to solve this problem? Then please respon to this comment.

Please go over and read the faqs again. I think you are new here and don't know about mylot time yet. When you post discussions, the number of posts don't automatically increase, you have to wait for mylot time before you can see the increase in the number of your posts.

Maybe you are responding to repeat discussion and they are getting deleted. Did you get any mail notifications regarding your deleted responses or discussions?

I see where your getting.
As far as I can deduce from the few days since I joined, the number in brackets beside your user name is not the actual count of responses that you made but the number of number of different discussions/different topics that you have participate in. Even if you responded 2 or more times say in this discussion that we are in right now the the number in bracket will only increase by 1.
Hope this clears up your question.

Hi Shibham,
I have not started any topics recently so I have not experienced this problem yet. I think it may be a glitch in mylot. Now I find that mylot is taking time to load and it changed the times too now giving the highest rated discussion early and sending digest too early than the usual time. Earlier the highest rated came around 5.45 PM (Indian Time) and yesterday it came around 4.45 PM.
However you can open your topics which means they are not deleted and I seen your topics in today’s topic also. So I think there is nothing to worry, they will sort out this problem very soon.

i still got my notification. but there is some re-comments that i don't get it, but that is only a few.
my big problem is the PM, i can't reply PM. and if i can i have to re sent it for about 6-8 times. that is tiring, so i just give up sending PM

Well,i thought i am only the one having problem here for 2 months now.
Yes,it's already 2 months since i stared not to receive notifications from mylot.
It pissed me off...and made me a little lazy doing mylot.
See the trouble of scanning all my responses just to check if i got comment back.
But,due to my mylot addiction,i go through that process...UNTIL NOW.
Okay dear brother...don't you worry..you are not the only one having such trouble.

Hi Shibham,
Sorry for the trouble. I don't know how to calculate the earnings. What I did is keep on typing, posting, replying etc. Just waited for the next day that my account balance change. I didn't count how many discussions or articles I replied or started. It makes you worry free. On the other hand, you are responsible of investigating and monitoring your earnings. I will try sometimes if how it works...God bless....

Yes I also suffering not like you but now with in 3 to 4 days my 3 answers and one discussion is deleted I dont know why I also shocked. But I have no choice and I considered yes may be any mistake by me due to this happen. But I observe your discussion is very long but no interested what is Lady no.6 and 5 and so other.
Start a good discussion from this the person can respond it very well.
Sory for this suggestion but my friend give me this suggestion so I am giving you because now my discussion is really improved after suggestion of my mylot freind.

A discussion get deleted when the starter violate the terms. I have already many posts... so there is nothing to be frustrated.
May not be interested to you but i have some good friends who are there to respond. Lady no6 has got 20 responses till this moment. I am happy enough.... maximum stories of this series having more than 10 responses. I dont wish to get 100, 10 is enough for me... as i can find out the best.

I have thoroughly check all of your discussions. Interestingly, I was unable to find these three topics there. It must be very disappointing for you. I have never experienced such situation till date here at myLot.
I wonder if your problem is related with server of myLot. Maybe it will be rectified once the server is restarted or reset. Good Luck.
