Sometimes we use to say that last night I had a nightmare. I could have died out of fear unless I woke up. But do you think that unless a person wakes up from a nightmare, he may have the chance to expire out of fear?

My thinking is that unless a person has a heart condition that the fear from a dream is simply a bad dream. So no I do not believe a person can actually die out of fear from a dream.

Yes, I have had some nightmares in the lastnights and they were scarey enough that they woke me up. If a person had a bad heart and had a very scarey nightmare then i think they could expire out of fear. Nightmares are dark and very scarey and you can get very intwines in the action and emotional. There was a movie about this once with Natalie Wood. Not exactly but sort of like it.

I try to confront my fears in my nightmares, when I get over one there's one bigger. For example, I don't dream about falling down and dying anymore cause I don't feel afraid of dying. But creepy! I had a dream that there was this phantom+vampire+zombie like woman and she just hit me with her chain and it locked me. I couldn't scream to my friends to come and help me and I think she was about to steal my soul. It was many years since I wasn't creeped out like that and I felt waking up with my heart on my throat! wow!

Nightmares are really scary. I had only one of them when I was 12 years old. And I still feel fear when I think about it.

I think so.When i was not very grown up,I used to chop firewood in the moutains.Maybe because of that, once i've had a nightmare,in it i was chased by a big wolf, and i could never shake off it till i fell into the deep cliff!i was so frightened that i woke up with cold sweat all over. That's the most fearful nightmare in my chlidhood.

I have never heard of a perosn not waking up from a nightmare! Never! If someone hasn't I really doubt they would expire from the fear! I truly don't think that could never happen!

It really depends on the source of the dreams. If it is from God, it may not be that bad ( acutaull it won't be nightmare but just a kind of guidance for us). It it is from ourselves, it maybe something to do with our life that God wants us to face at.However, if the dream is from the devil, it might be somekind of faer that you would experience. Psychology loves to say that dream is a wish fulfillment , but it is only an assumption and the suppport thay get , sound do ridicious, but people just want to believe it becasue it sound scientific. If it is from those new age dream interpretation, I think it is more terrible than the nightmare. peopl;e pay for courses like that but never understnad that they are all being deceive . The Bible has many example of understanding dreams such as Joseph and Daniel. ANd the bible tells us that only with the Holy Spirit we can understand all those Dream symbol and it has to be line up with the Bible. Only the Holy Spirit can help us to understand dreams from God. If it is not from God, the value of the dream is low. However, ther are times people having nightmare ust because they watch movie with horror in the day times and open up a gate wayfor the devil to atatcak them in the dream , so don't do that again if anyone has such experience. There are times , people having noghtmare just because having too much pizza and eating too much junk food at that time. Don't do that and start to eat healthy and your nightmare will be gone soon.
