How to gain weight?

Recently I have lost weight that I did'nt want to. I am in the process of using a weight gaining product from GNC, but still have not gained any weight. I have also been trying to eat more food, but it is hard as I am not a big eater. I went from 100 pounds to 95 pounds in like a month. Any idea's of what might help me gain weight back fast?

You should consult a doctor if you are losing weight all of a sudden and fast. If you are used to eating light, it is very stressful to your body to accomodate your change of eating habits. It could affect your digestion and what goes in just comes out, nothing gain. Doing exercise may help work up your appetite, and in time, you will eat more and gain weight through the development of muscles instead of fat. Also, you can try to eat more meals with smaller portion of food. But, if you just want your 5 pounds back fast, lots of chocolate milkshake will do the trick. LOL.

Hi my friend. I think the best thing to do is to consult your doctor. There are various causes of weight loss. I, for one, is anemic my whole life. I have a very heavy flow period every month as well. I suffer from depression and anxiety once in a blue moon. All of those are affecting my health. My normal weight is 51kg. Last month I went down to 48kg. I was so worried. I consulted my doctor and did all the necessary test. Now, I am taking iron tablets and other supplements. I am taking pills to regulate my period. I am happier and my moods are better. I eat really well and more concious with my eating. I am now up to 50kg. Hope you gain weight soon. Please see your doctor.

You can eat high calorie foods. You can sweets and greasy foods. If you would rather stay healthy then there is weight gain and you can eat lots of protein.

If food isn't helping then you probably want to go for what hardworkinggirl said... muscle. It's likely the healthier way to go in any event. Do some weight training... doesn't have to be anything major. You can just get little hand weights or try using some canned foods if you haven't gotten any of those. Also eat high-protein foods like beans, meats, soy, and nuts so you can build up those muscles. If you have no idea why you lost that weight and if it happened rather suddenly then you need to talk to a doctor.

Well I hear drinking smoothies will help you put on some weight along with some dairy products.I would even try eating a bit of icecream everyday and see if that helps to increase your weight.My mom gained 5 pounds in a month when she ate icecream everyday for like a month.

hi irishmist, Eat yogurt in the evening maybe can help you to gain weight,i eat it just 4 days and my face get round. But in fact,i didn't want to |0|..And you can prepare for cheese,butter beside you so that you can eat them every time when you want to eat. It's difficult for a thin man to gain weight just as a fat one to lose weight. Good luck for you.

I would say you do not want just to gain weight more like tone up and gain a bit of muscle. The last thing you want is to gain what you lost double. So the GNC product is really great because it will allow you to gain muscle instead of fat. Drink plenty of water and add some exercise. Since you are not looking to loose anymore weight I would not say strengthening exercise more like walking and or cardio exercising. Definitely no more the 30 mins at least 3 times a week. Well all that comes to my mind is "Eat a lot of cheese" :) I'm a bit overwieight so 'gaining weight' is not really my topic of discussion.. But I do remember, when I was a kid, I used to gain weight very fast when I ate cheese everyday. Mom had bought a box of molten cheese sort of something that I used to eat with bread every morning ! That increased my weight a lot and in so little time ! Try it !
