I enjoy watching the program and found tonight to be a good exploration of the rationale behind defense attorneys. Does anyone else enjoy the show and it's probing of the myriad of issues surrounding the practice of law?

You are absolutely right about this show, I started watching it and love it, of course I like Kathy Bates, this is just the right role for her. She brings a mixture of intelligence and a down to earth demeanor working while working on her cases. If I miss an episode I always try to catch it on OnDemand too. This is a very good show.

you are right about your comments concerning Kathy Bates and the rest of the cast of Harry's Law, I remember Brittany Snow from the television series American Dreams, I really enjoyed Kathy Bates in the Tyler Perry movie, The Family That Preys, if you have not seen this movie, I would suggest you watch it, she is a very good actress. I think this show should be nominated for an Emmy award too.

Well, she's won an Oscar, so an Emmy would make a nice matched set. I haven't seen that film, I'll have to check it out. I'm rekindling my love of Kathy Bates. It waned a bit after I saw a film with her and James Woods (another fave), however, it was a little too oblique for my taste. A lot of biblical imagery set in a midwest farm. I didn't get it. Still, they both did a wonderful job.

This is an excellent show well casted with story lines that make me care about the conclusion. We can really feel for the victim and want to see justice. The guest stars have been excellent also. Its great to see a show get the right actor for the roles.

I think the show will be renewed, as its on NBC and there aren't many shows with good ratings there now. The network has a hit and yes the ratings could be better; however, it does air at 10:00pm and the 9:00pm really didn't help ratings at all.

I know, it's a rare thing when a show hits the exact note it was going for. And the guest stars are too perfect. I also love how they take each stereotype and twist it just that little bit. It makes the show completely unpredictable. However, I'm concerned, it's been noted that the series' ratings dropped during the season and the networks seem to be in the mood to chop anything that's any good. I hope Harry's Law survives the network execs. machetes.
