5 bags of blOOD?

Philippines

My sis was confined in the hospital yesterday and I am here in the city working for a living. I am so concerned but I just can't go home and leave my job. And mom said, she needs blood transfusion as her hemoglobin count decreased since last week, and they need 5 bags of type A+ blood. That's how much should be transfused to my sister. I couldn't imagine how weak my sister is now. All I could do now is bend my knees and pray that she'd be well soon. 5 bags of blood? Up till now, we only have 2 donors for the blood. We still need 3 bags of blood. Can we have your prayers my friends?

hello chuyins, That is so sad Red Cross and PCSO can help you with this matter because when my mom's friend needed a blood they seek help from this two NGO how i wish i can donate 1 bag but sadly i can't due to my health condition right now it's not advisable plus i am not A+. I will include her in my prayers may you have a donors soon Just hold on and keep believing.

I pray that he strengthens your sister right now. I also pray that He gives you His peace and that it will all work out for her and you as well...I even pray that the donors with good clean blood will line up to give her blood so she can get this done and feel better quickly!

My. Prayers are with you and your sister. I hope you would a able to find the needed amount of blood for her to be well. Have you checked if you can give blood to her? Any friends or relatives who are of the same blood type with her?

I guess I'm used to hospitals here having plenty of blood for blood transfusions. I mean strangers donate all the time, and I can't remember the last time I heard of someone needing a certain kind and not having any. That's so scary for your sister and your family. I'll be praying.

thank you my friend. There's already 2 donors of blood so we just need another 3 and I will hold on to God's grace that donors will still come. We need the transfusion of 5 bags of blood within this week. And she'd be transported to a city for a check up a specialist for her bone marrow. Please continue praying. Thanks.

I'm so sorry to hear about that. I'm not sure where you are at, but in America, most blood banks keep at least a two week supply of all blood types. I am getting two bags of blood today myself and the hospital has the supply of it. I hope that your sister is ok.

I too am keeping my fingers crossed, bending my knees and holding on to GOD for donors. And I am praying that there's no other complications with my sis, she'd be brought to Cagayan de Oro for a general check up and for her bone marrow analysis. I hope the lab tests will go well. Thanks for praying, continue doing so.

Hi chuyins.. don't worry coz we'll include your sis to our prayers. hope she will get well soon. let's just as God's guidance and graces to help your sister to recover from what ever she's going through right now. And may God bless him with enough strength. And God Bless your family. I think my decision of donating blood tomorrow is right because a lot of people now are in need and some are having a hard time looking for a donor, but sad to say that my blood is type O. I just hope that more donors will come to help your sister.

I know how difficult it is for you not to be beside your sis at this time. You may be physically present in your work but utterly bothered. I was in the same dilemma before when my father was in the icu and I was in another place working. Anyways, hold on there...keep up your faith..nothing is impossible for him who believes. You have my prayers...

Let me quote "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM WHO BELIEVES" I really needed that affirmation. I believe and trust that GOD will see us through this crisis. And yes, it's so difficult for me to be miles away from my sister, I haven't even seen her and now she's so weak and hurting. I am so troubled, but God is GREAT. He will heal her. I believe. thanks for praying and continue doing so. :)
