3 million dollar grant from a government that's broke and millions of dollars in debt to an area hospital that fewer and fewer people can afford to go to it. overheard highway proposal in a state where they had to close a bridge because they couldn't afford to repair it. The area they want to build the overhead highway in has experienced all of the following: flooding swamp, marsh area blinding blizzards and really bad snow storms for miles, about 25 miles sometimes earthquakes 18 wheelers jack-knifing fuel trucks exploding I can't wait to see what dimwitted thing will be in our newspaper next. I only read it for the stupidity. Wait, that's most of the paper. Just so you know the 3 million dollar grant for our hospital is to redo the ER because when they redid it last time, they didn't do it right. So is 3 mill going to help that or are they going to do it wrong again? Stay tuned.

Personally it can be amazing what things people in states and the US as a whole want to cut, and what they decide to keep. Personally here in WA state it is always wanting to cut $$ for education and schools but leave the Welfare system as is to where so many people are abusing the system here without them ever bothering to check when where if you really need help, or when your kids will be in classrooms of at least 50 kids there is no hope? Makes no sense at all to me. What do you think this will ever teach them?

Sad, isn't it? We have many here abusing the welfare system, too. If they keep messing with schools, everyone will be on the welfare system. Will that make them happy? Many are home schooling in my area as it is now.

Often it seems there are no REAL people involved in deciding how government money is spent or how things are planned.

Do we have any that makes any sense, you mean? Nope. Not much seems to make sense any more. I have given up trying to keep up with the news, except for the top stories and then I just skim them. Maybe I should start reading it again. I could stand a laugh now and then.

I have to keep up with this. The overhead higway is going to be so near my house that they'll probably condemn it and I'll loose my land, too.

You know I gave up on the trying to make sense thing a long time ago. We have our Government saying STAY IN SCHOOL, but yet they do absolutely noting for those struggling to pay the tuition's. How about last year with the whole stimulus deals and yet the money was so wrongfully used. Where as the high up people received these lucrative raises and the poor is still waiting to be stimulated or at least eat. So I although caring in nature, try not to dive into the news much anymore.

I have to, it's my house they want to put the overhead highway 100 yards away from. So if this goes through, my house will probably be condemned and so will my house for an off ramp or something. We can't afford to help the poor and elderly, but they want to make an overhead highway.
