So last year we had planned to get tattoos for our anniversary but Hubby had a job loss. This year we are back on our feet and again we plan to get tattoos for anniversary. Again he loses his job to lay offs..blah! I mean we know someone who is a tattoo apprentice and will do them for free but I would really like one I know will come out good I mean I do have to live with it forever and it is special to me. Oh I know I sound like a cry baby but I just had to vent but didn't want to make hubby feel bad as it is not his fault the economy is killing our area.

dare I ask how long you have been married? You are right, a tat is forever, consider where you put it and what you have put on - consider weight gain (or loss) and what if something happens? All things considered, its a LOT easier to put one on than take one off

12 years now. We've been together over 14 though. This isn't our first tattoos i used to be an apprentice myself before having kids (my boss didn't like having a pregnant woman doing tats because of all the blood born diseases so I left with thoughts to go back but alas that never happened) and know all to well how long a tattoo lasts. I drew one for us when we got married but was pregnant so hadn't gotten it. He has it I want it. We originally wanted to do it for the ten year but we have four kids so money goes to their stuff first.

I hear ya... Personally, and I really mean for ME and not ANYONE else okay... Personally, I think marriage, kids, tats and all those things are just crazy, so here I am 57 and a crazy cat lady - we all like different things, huh?

I believe in fate and when something keeps happening like this I tend to feel that somebody doesn't want me to do that! I can think of alot of other things I would do with the money. Lots of memories you could make for that amount of money. If fate is trying to tell me something I listen!
