What has become of the human race?

I am thinking, what has become of the human race? we call ourselves the highest form of being in this earth yet people act low. I was reading the local newspaper and there was one article about three teenage boys salvaged and beheaded and said suspects are in the police force! i am dumbfounded. How could they? i mean, i cannot even hurt or even pinch another person,what more behead. Said article indicate that these teenage boys are rugby boys and into addiction but to behead and kill them? I know people have been killing each other for like centuries and it is part of our being animalistic in nature but still i cannot register it in my mind..then i saw on the news about this girl, who was raped and chopped to death as well. It is horrible that i cannot register it, how could one do it? i mean do they even have a soul? or maybe they are possessed by evil to be able to do such? I do not know if it is just here or that is happening everywhere. It is maddening to think about it. It feels like i want to envelope my kids and seal them away from harsh realities of these world. It makes me want to teach them more of values so that they will know how to become better human beings.

its better 2 be out of your depression and look at positive aspects of your life and surroundings otherwise there are lot of things 2 cry abou and fear

i am not in depression nor i am depressed. I am just pointing out things that are frustrating and is happening. We cannot always focus on what is good, often times we also have to look at what is bad and what is depressing so we could correct it, so that we could focus what is there to change in our society and to know what values we will instill with our children.@sagtheboss (17)

I have always wondered this as well. How can someone deliberately kill someone, and then for a lot of them they never tend to show any remorse as well. I know there are many times we may get angry and go thru something with a fit of rage, but to get to the point, or sometimes even plan to murder someone is beyond my train of thought.
Personally as a Christian I think though that this is just becoming more and more a sign of the times, and I continue to Pray that many lives can be changed before more lives are destroyed as well.

Yes, i am still wondering about this and i have also seen those convicted and when you look at them you cannot see any emotion of guilt or whatever..it is like they have evolved into a different specie with no feelings at all. And yes we do get angry at people but not to the point that we want to kill them!

oh jazel, that is world..cruel and sometimes we act like an animal.
you can't seal your kids on
just let them know the evil side and the good side of the world. tell them which one they want to be and what is the impact if they choose in a wrong way. we are not God who can't keep them safe.

yes i can't seal them but i know i can teach them values they can use in the future

In this multilevel classroom called Earth, it must include the lowest of the low so they can learn from others higher. Remember, evil gets much more attention than goodness. The vast majority of people are good people. Those who live for evil have many hard lessons coming. As for your children, don't shelter them from the evils of the world. Teach them how to deal with the evils of the world. Parents can never shield their children forever best to teach them.

We are the most advance race of humans for sure. Its all about values. Some people dont have any and everyone has different values these days. Along time ago everyone shared the same values of their region. Its not like that today. Who knows what the future will hold.

yes i do agree that is all about values and some have forgotten what values are. it has become twisted.
