Now that the summer/ easter vaccations are here, any travel plans?

Close to my house there is a travel agent's office and now since a week, I see dozens of people at any time of the day there waiting to book their travel deals. I realised that most people want to take off for a holiday with their family and friends during vaccation. Ideally they go a place where there is the beach or a hill station to cool off.
What about you all friends? any plans for a holiday, if so please do share with some details...

Hello Kiranji, summer vacation will be start from the next month. Every one who can afford go to any tourist place. They will go on hills or some places where they feel relex from hot weather. I also like visit on tourist place.In my student I enjoy tourism too much. Kasmir to Kanyakumari. But now it is not difficult for me due to my health problem. Although I want that my children take off for a holiday. I decide in the next year I will must take off with my children for a tourist place nearby my residence.

Thats right anil, most people go for a holiday and what really matters is how much you enjoy it mentally as you take in the surroundings and also interact with others.Last year we went to Kudremukh, a hill station close to mangalore where I live.A large joint family had come from Gujarat and one of the senior member on a wheelchair . But what mental energy he had. In the evening when everyone gathered before dinner most people would be around him listening to him and recounting their days activities....You must plan at least one holiday a year along with your family and make the most of it - take care and all the best

Hello Kiran ji, Thanks for your inspiring message. I planed that in next summer I will go for a holiday. I need not to use wheelchair, I can walk with the help of walker. I have twin doughters, I never go with her for holiday after she became some mature. You know I have health problem from last fifteen years. Now my doughters are 20 year old. so I wand to go for holiday with them.

thanks for the response,here the heat also increasing from afternoon onwards,due to budget we does not have any cooler or air conditioner,i too was not going to spend vacations just like you,i do not have vacations all the summer is our season,but i have to go for searching girls for my son and with my son to Guntur district from 22nd onwards,have a nice day

Good luck with your search for your would be daughter in law ! I too do not have an AC but am able to manage so far very well with ceiling fans . My house is surrounded by trees and it helps the compound and house remain cool all through the day and night as well !

Hi sreedhar, I am not going on any vacation, at least no plans as yet.Even if I did it, it will be for a short weekend trip and I will definitely not take my laptop when I go lol

I would kill for a vaca at any hill station right now! its so hot in here and i remember how last summer we all went to a hill station and it was sooooo fun we did everything we possibly could.I remember all those partying, skiing.. Ahhh such fun! since it was cold there, i didn't realise anything but when i came back home after two weeks i was so tired that almost kept passing out for a month xD. However i cant go anything this summer since my final exams are starting from next month and there is a summer project right after the exam. :(

Hi rock_rock, dont worry, there are many more years ahead when you can have another great holiday like the one you had earlier A good holiday and its memories remain with you for a life time and it is essential to have this kind of break every now and then . This January and into early February I traveled to Colombia with my three year old disabled son and one year old daughter. We stayed at Cartagena De Indias and Santa Marta. It was a really lovely trip and I hope to go back to that beautiful plus interesting country in the future.
This summer I hope to go on a long weekend to the Yorkshire Coast Line. I would like to go to Scarborough, Whitby and Robbin Hood Bay. I will soon wish to book the train tickets up there. I will be taking my disabled son and my daughter with me. We would like to go there in June or July.

Hi maximax,I too would love to travel through South American countries.It is great that you travel with your children to all these places. such experiences are for life. I still have fond memories of all the holidays spent with my children when they were younger...Hope you have a great time during your summer time vacation ...

Yep summer is coming close and we just booked our tickets to Miami!!. My wife, me and my friends are all going to Miami again after a long time. We used to go there to celebrate my bday there but haven't gone in past couple of years. We are going again this year for my bday. Its kind of a tradition it seems now. I also proposed to my wife while we were there for my bday one year. :-) SO its a happy place for all of us filled with memories.
