What would you do if you can’t impress someone at the first sight?

Hello ifa Usually I don't like to mix business with people I know, especially if I have to see them often. Only reason is if later they are not satisfied they get all bent of shape and forever be upset. But if you and the neighbor have a good understanding then all you can to do is show and explain the positives sides of the product and hopefully he then will buy it. Maybe a little room for negotiation of the price. But do remind the friend that it is a final sale and or how far you are willing to go in the event let's say 1 year down the line, since I do not know the product, but let's say if it is electronics, that he/she cannot comeback for life to expect you to help and or fix whatever issues. Some people are like this that think we will guarantee a product unreasonably. Good luck and hope all goes well with the sale.

Hi ifa Me a sales guy I find it as a nightmare for me. Selling anything never comes to me. I am worst at this. But yes, I can suggest you this - I know it is against the ethics of marketing and sales but still - How about telling this neighbor - "Dear, I need you to be the first customer for this product I am selling. I see it will be a great start and my luck charm will be you.". Maybe this neighbor has a heart and understands.

Hi dear! It is not an easy task to sell a product or service to your neighbor. Though, you can give it a try by telling him/her rather highlighting all the positive points in the product. You can offer to return the money if s/he does not like the product, say within 2 days. Having said that you can sell it to me, provided it is of my use ......... Lol!

It is very difficult, making people buy things that we offer. I also do not have the capacity for it. I can only offer it, can not appeal for someone to buy.

Hahaha.. nothing hard at all. Just try to find out what your neighbor's favorite dish or beverage? Then make it ( you may buy from outside but have to say that you have made it... a lie, but not at all...). Then offer it and try to discuss the matter. Have a nice day.

Hi ifa!! I think you should get to know them for some time so by next time, you'll be able to endorse your product while having a chit chat with them. By this means, you'll have a greater possibility of having your goods sold. Plus, if you start a god conversation or relation with them, you can widen your market along with their friends. Befriend them first. The more friends you have within the neighborhood, the more chances of having your products sold.

It's going to be hard too , I'm not good at persuading people to coax someone to buy. I'm the worst salesman ever , LoL. Maybe you can try to you know , just promote the product at a whim. Like through word of mouth .. not just your neighbor but anybody else at all. See how it goes..like oh yeah this product is good , I've been using it for awhile now... and if it happens , it happens.

hi ifa try telling them about someone you may both know who bought this item or has one like it as everyone likes endorsements from someone they really trust. lol loll

hello ifa, I know it's not easy to sell when you are not expert with selling. All you have to do is give the advantage why they need to buy that product,and also give them some comparison if they buy it from the market...and why it's best to buy it directly from you

We can only impress someone with the person that we are. it can't just happen at first sight. people have to get to know each other first. After that comes the time for really making an impression on somene.

At first, have a great smile that is noticeable. Then have a normal discussions like how's life these days. While having a good conversation butt in the intention of introducing the product. Encourage him/her to the advantages of this product. if you think he/she isn't sure with his answer whether he/she likes it give your contact number where you can easily be reached.

Well to others maybe you can try and be a convincing salesman and help others and convince them enough with lies and a good voice. But since it's your own neighbours i suggest that you go and explain to them carefully about your problem and i am sure that they would be able to help you out with whatever is the problem you have. They would see that you are trying something here and with some convincing and some luck i am sure you would be able to sell them off whatever you have with you! Cheers!

Be honest with a positive attitude, where you think what you are selling is the best you can have. It is something everybody needs to have.

Maybe one thing you could do is use the product or item in front of them. If it's something such as sports equipment or tools you can take it outside and use it. If it's make up you could wear it. Also, show an interest in whatever they are doing. If you show concern for their lives, they will trust you more and listen to you when you want to sell stuff.
