Hello lotters, Though I was very careful with entertaining with inquiries regarding the space they want to rent, but unfortunately, i was still caught off guard. first instance was one of the staff made a rumor that the royal wedding will be held in the philippines, his co-staff was completely shocked but i was quiet because i know i felt being fooled so there was no such! Second was yesterday, AS the Roll up Shutters are being assembled in the commercial spaces. one man, i thought he was the supervisor kept moving around with the workers, we knew our contact but I thought he was one of their supervisor! then i realized later that he's actually another Roll up dealer when we already had one. thanks to my mom he blocked him off from roaming around the house any further. it was so stupid of me to talk to that stranger!.this guy lied when i started talking to him and pretended he knew the stuff parts in the roll ups as it was his own. Talking to strangers is indeed dangerous.. *reminds me of that Rumored "Hypno-stealer"! the one who brainwashes you while taking to them!

Hello Bhabycatch, I don't know, though I know he wasn't trying to steal or anything but he shouldn't have use that as an opportunity to introduce his business. Lying just to get his time to make deals, we took his card and never let him inside and probably threw it some where inside the house. What he did was completely inappropriate.have a nice day.

Right, it's so scary to talk to strangers nowadays. I have heard from relatives and friends that they've experienced being hypnotized or something and their money taken from them. My dentist once told of this story where a man pretended to be a patient. And then she doesn't know what really happened. She just remembers handing out money to the stranger and then when she was "fully conscious", she just didn't know why she gave that money to the stranger. Be careful of that person you mistook as a supervisor. Some weeks ago, there was a news account of a pawnshop being robbed because a man who pretended to be connected with the owner of the pawnshop scared the employees and since they were afraid of losing their job, they did what he ordered them to do - cleaning the window and buying something. And when he had the opportunity and was alone at the shop, he grabbed some jewelry. And all this was caught on cctv!

Hello Gloryacam, It would have been logical if they did call the Real owner and asked if they knew the person. As for the dentist, I pity her because the guy obviously had hypnotic powers and something that people should consider avoiding. Was that guy caught? In this regard I should protect my renters from strangers such as these.

I really don't know how they could have let it happen. From the news account, the man just came barging in, shouting he was a friend of the owner, barking this and that order and so the employees got really scared and did all his commands. Then, when they weren't looking, he stole the loot. As to my dentist, no, the man was never caught because it had been several minutes later before she realized that she had just given away her money to that man. Yes, it's best to be prudent and safe these days.

LetranKnight25, I do not think we can ever avoid talking to strangers at certain point and time of our lives. Like you, I believe in being careful and vigilant when I am approached or approach them myself. We just need to know what is happening and be alert at all times.

Hello Sky, I am just glad I didn't get into the worse situation in my life. To be honest I can be pretty much rude to strangers and pretenders, too bad though I got caught off guard in this one. Unfortunately, I got no defense against these brain washers or hypnotisers from the start. I sure hope won't be able to encounter one. Have a nice day.

Hello Knicax, I should have shove him off myself if knew what he was doing! I have shove off some people who inquire for a wrong timing. Usually I just asked for their number and let them call again from there. There was actually one renter who feels like a VIP but I didn't call her because she wasn't sincered enough that she should be calling me instead. Have a nice day.

Hello Queen, WOW! It's like you were being brainwashed or hypnotised for some reason but unfortunately, you resisted.i don't know if I can resist that I mean I can't even determined people who are actually pretending. It's such a shock, only if law enforcement can use to squeeze out information from the criminals. But I may not recommend it in our law enforcement here.

I have to agree with you on this, especially these days. We have got to be so careful because you just do not know who you can trust anymore.

Hello Steph, I can't believe I got fooled by that person hanging out on our front lawn. I thought also he liked that other guy who assembled and installed our water meter. But I guess I was too careless since I was bragging about the commercial rent. That's true, a lot of people had fell victim to some really annoying scammers and frauders.

Hello Hatley, I hated the fact that I was misled. If my mom found out that I was talking to that person earlier before he notices that guy roaming around, then I would have been scolded for sure. This cannot happened to me or will be in big trouble for sure in the future. Not to mention, I am the future inhertance to that place. Have a nice day.

Hello Jaiho Sis, Yeah, that is so threatening because there was a rumored story that some neighbor told my mom a long time ago. I didn't believe until I watch the news about chinese tourist hypnotising a businessman and failed the second time as they got arrested. Maybe I should start wearing glasses to keep them from controlling me, unless it's a very powerful magician. Have a nice day.

Hi LetranKnight This one really reminded me of one advert for Lays that was aired some year back - a small cute girl saying "Mom says -Never Talk to Strangers". My lesson from this - sometimes, being curious doesnt help...

Hello thesids, I wasn't really curious, but I was deceived to believed that person was part of the working group. Because I asked him about the left over steel that is stuck in the van, then he lied about it being assembled to another commercial space. I'd better be careful to whom am talking to, seems the other workers didn't mind him wandering around. Be careful.have a nice day.

You should. Here in our place I know some who have been victimized by those thief using hypnotism. Some of those group try to know about their prospect first by standing by outside or near the house or by pretending to be a part of an organization conducting some surveys. I know someone who was taken jewels and P1M. She got depressed and irritated so her child works in Manila asked her to have a vacation there so she can get back to normal. That money taken from her was from her part of a farm that she inherited that she sold.
