Even if he was born in Kenya I don't think I would care

In 2008 I did not vote for Barack Obama, (for the record I voted for Barr/Root LP) but I have been doing some thinking and I might vote for him in 2012. Of course that is the here and now, things might change. My reason for possible voting for Obama is this, the current field of GOP possible candidates are unworthy of my vote and no third party candidate has made any announcement of intentions to run yet. Now there is more than a year to go and some one can sweep me off of my feet. As it stands right now, Obama vs the current field of candidate, Obama would get my vote. I do not know how many of you have ever read alternative history novels, you know novels based around the concept of something different happening in history and then written a serious of novels based on on a new time line, but I was wonder what if Obama was actually born in Kenya. I am sure that this alternative history would make some of you so happy. The question I asked myself was, self if you knew that Obama was born in Kenya who you still vote for him over a bunch of people that do not have the intellect to run this country. Answer I would still vote for Obama. Yes I do understand that Obama would be ruled ineligible, though I must say that I think that the born in the country requirement is unnecessary and should be changed. If the majority of the voters and state which they reside in want a foreign born President so be it, but that is a totally different discussion. Okay here is my question to the mylotter who voted for Barack Obama, how would you vote if you knew that Obama was actually born in Kenya?

If we knew he was born in Kenya, it would be a wasted vote because it would be illegal for him to be president. It would be interesting if someone proved he was born in Kenya at this point because it would make everything he has done so far illegal. It would be worth is just to get rid of Obama care. Just found out that some of the major hospitals in my area will no longer be taking Medicare and Medicade come Jan 1 when Obama Care goes into effect. This is no good for people who are on medicare and medicade, but from a business standpoint you have trouble faulting them when they lose so much money on medicare/aid patients as it is, and it is fixing to get worse.

It wouldn't necessarily get rid of the Health Care legislation as that was voted on by the Congress it would most likely get suspended until which time a new president could either veto it or sign it back into law as remember laws don't come from the president so it would most likely just delay any laws or things he put his sig on. How ever their is more proof that he was born in Hawaii than anywhere else.

Yup at this point it is pretty much a moot point where he was born, we will never really know. It is a bit odd however that there is no concrete record. Ask any friend you know who was born it the states, and they will have had to produce their birth certificate or a copy thereof in the last 10 years and they will have been able to do it... As for healthcare, surely after seeing the underwelming public support for the bill and the ripple effects it has already had as people prepare for it. No one in their right might would put their signature to it.

Actually I used my COLB which is equivalent to a Long Form Birth Certificate. I had to get my SS Card from Social Security and well it prove what they needed for me to get my SS Card and I could use it to prove I am able to be president hence why I know that Obama COLB is correct in form. (It looks exactly like mine and well proves where he was born.) Hence why every court case is getting thrown out for lack of evidence.

In other words, the US Constitution and the United States in general mean absolutely nothing to you. To knowingly vote for a person you knew was not Constitutionally eligible to run is to be an enemy of the nation... and should be treated as such.

To some the constitution is meaningless until they can use it to attack their opponents. I thinks it's clear that that is how Gewcew feels about it.

I would not have votyed for him because he is not a legal alien of the United States. These things should have been proven before he ever got voted in though.

But if he was not born in the USA...and he knows that, is he willingly and knowlingly breaking the law. I don't want a criminal ruling this country, do you? Doesn't matter if you think it isn't an issue. The Constitution makes born in this county the law. And to change it to allow anyone...that'd be disgusting. This is America...why should someone from another country, who came to this country and doesn't bother to be come a citizen, rule it? And do you think any other country would allow such a thing? Anyone who thinks they would is dumber than a box of rocks. Can't Americans be Americans? If it is proved he is not born in America, he should be impeached and put in jail like any other criminal that breaks the law. That isn't going to happen tho, but still....why do some get away with breaking the law and others can do as athey please with no penalties?

My biggest problem with this would be the dishonesty factor. He knew the rules and if he was not born in the US then he would have knowingly broken the law. That would not speak well for future trusting of him.
