Pets are stress relievers

On my way home from work my puppy suddenly gave his sweet approach to me. Everyday he always did that! It is nice to think that even pets waits for us. I also have an aquarium with different kind of subtle fish. Studies had proven that fishes absorb some stress in us!

I am a cat lover, but lately can't known one because of my mom another story. They are great companion and I do too love when they purrs. And just listening to them is relaxing. But people had said that they are great stress reliever, but scientifically i have seen any article as yet on that or how.

Yeah.. You're right! I certainly agree with you on this. Pets are stress relievers. I used to have a dog. Every time I'm sad, I just let her in the house and play with her. I feel happy whenever I look at her wag her tail and bark at me like she wanted to play more. Dogs really makes me forget my problems for a while. They are indeed stress relievers. :)

My favorite pet is a cat, and she is so sweet. She knows exactly what time I come back home from work, and she will be there sitting at the front door to greet me home. Yes, it is always so nice to know that there is some one who is waiting for me to get back home. That's the sweetest moment !

well i have 2 dogs and they know when you are stressed and such. They also sleep beside me so i have 2 additional pillows

Yes, it is correct. Pets can reduce our stress more than people. spending our time with the pets in stressful times help in reducing our stress bring back our mood. If we think our pet is our best friend, we can talk with her in her language and reduce our stress.

I can really relate to this! Whenever I feel restless, I go to my dogs and pet them. They are so adorable! A really cute thing my dog does is seek my hand whenever she wants a petting. So I reach out my hand, and she follows it, rubbing against it, saying "Pet me!" I really love her doing that. And there are times when I'm quietly sitting in our yard, and my dogs would approach me and lie next to where I am sitting. Gives me a feeling that they are protecting me. :D

yeah pets are stress relievers. when i am sick or tired my cat comes to my bed and lies on my tummy, and my cat also watch tv with me.
and also my dog always scratch my arm when i am sitting, fot he wants me to rub his head. and he lie his head on my lap.
