Busby Babes, Not Busy Babes!

I HATE it when I realise a spelling is incorrect and there's nothing I can do about it!
I was so intent on checking my spelling in the discussion itself that I failed to realise that I'd typed "Busy Babes" not "Busby Babes."
"Busy Babes" sounds like an advertisement for an Escort Agency or something.
Haha!
Have you ever done this? Made a complete ar*se of your discussion title but didn't realise it until afterwards?
Oh, well, hopefully the Man U fans will see the funny side.

Well, I think personally in all the yrs. I have been actively posting here in myLot I know I have done this quite a few times. Even when posting back in a discussion I know I have done this from time to time as well. It would be nice that you could use a Spell checker, etc. with discussion titles and go and change them when you catch a mistake. Same with discussions, but I guess once it's done, it's done.

hi Janey oh me too and its always after you have hit post discussion too so all you can do is yell at the computer oh no oh My G. What an idiot I am .lol Busy Babes wow someone will be sure to snap that up for some sleazy Escort service or what have you.Better to laugh than cry lol. I remember one time quite awhile back I had put dat for that in my discussion title and did not see it until after I hit post. so the title read:"Oh Whats Dat Sound?" Totally embarrassed and hoping my friends would laugh and not think me a complete dodo.Misspelling is onething but unfortunately spelling checker cannot correct the wrong words we type. alas. You can imagine how horrified I was the other day when a response I had just posted had three just plain garbled words in it that I had missed. It seems that in my haste in typing I misplaced my left hand on the keys so the words I wanted to type came out just a garbled mess something like sl[,.ypmh instead of something as I had both hands over one key too far.touch typing is great as long as you keep your fingers on the correct keys. lol.

Awww Hatley you do make me laugh!
Apparently, kids here say the word 'dat' instead of 'that' quite a lot now..it's probably come from texts originally and morphed onto Facebook. My nephew once made the mistake of saying 'dat' to Mum (his Grandma) and she soon put a stop to that!

You don't reprove yourself too much.in this respect,I have gone even farther than you did.Not that I feel at ease and justified but that It is hard not to make a mistake. In mylot the trouble is that after you post response or start a discussion, what is done cann't be undone.Given you find errors afterward, you cann't do other than utter bootless cries.

At least your typo didn't say, "Busty Babes"!
Now that would have got my attention!
I am not sure the Man U fans would have seen the funny side, as if they ain't winning, they ain't happy.
