Is anyone still interested in Prince William's wedding or the British Royals?

With the global buzz on Prince William's impending wedding to Kate Middleton, will you take leave from work to watch the latest royal wedding. Or you have all but forgotten about Lady Di and the charms she has wrought on the world.
Personally I still enjoy watching the pomp and pagentry of the whole event despite the bad publicity of the royal family in recent years. I will however not purposefully take leave to watch the event.
How about you? Do share on this.

I never really cared about the wedding, partly because I don't care for weddings in general. Also I think royal families are just annoying. I guess I'm too much of an American to enjoy royalty.

I guess I rather enjoy the pomp and pagentry of the whole Event and in that respect, I am more european in preference.

I remember as a kid glancing at the Royal wedding of Princess Diana but was not really interested at the time. Since I don't know them personally it is not something I am interested in.
I do wish them all the happiness in the world and hope they share many private years together, although the media will do all it can to invade their privacy.
Unless they show a clip of the wedding on the News I more then likely would not be watching, simply because I find it should be shared with close friends and family.

I think that any wedding is a private thing to be celebrated by family and friends. A wedding is a ceremony which marks the start of a life together. Much more important is the success of the marriage. Of course, I wish every happiness for William and Kate but I deplore and hate the commercialisation and publicity of it all which is really just a flurry of greedy and amoral people trying to inflate an admittedly interesting event.
I probably shall not watch the wedding but I would very likely watch the next coronation (when and if!)

umm indeed weddings amongst ordinary folks like us are rather private. However, Prince William is a candidate for the British royal throne and in that sense is public property. Thus the screening of the wedding to the general public and the world.
Definitely the next coronation in U.K. will be interesting coz I haven't seen one in my lifetime - an educational experience indeed.

Hi Hatley, I guess it has a certain feel good and a live happily ever after kinda feeling. It will be interesting to watch the ceremonial aspect of it too as it is not your everyday kinda programme.

Not interested at all since it has nothing to do with my life and I won't be gaining something even if I watch it overnight. I don't know why people were just so focus on such things in life, no offense. But is it much more important to seek what is the truth in life? why are we here for? what is the purpose of our existence? our goal in life.Royal or not royal family, all will still stand before God in judgement.

I wont't take a leave.. You will not die if you will not the wadding live. Working to earn money is important that to watch that wedding. You can still watch it on a reply manner. After the wedding you can still watch it, and maybe almost a week you can see the updates on the television about it..

As a Canadian I am intrigued, and interested, although I am not a Royal Watcher in normal times. This wedding is like a fairy story set in ancient history, that is coming to life in modern times. There is so much of our history being enacted here, that most Canadians,(royal watchers or not) will be charmed right out of their pjs.

im really not interested on this, and i think is totally wrong to fail at work just because of this!!!, given so much importance to this kind of even, like if something good will happend, it will not benefit at all to me, most of the time famous people do something, they have thousands of people following every single movement, i cant just believe it,

I think there's been a bit too much hype surrounding the wedding, but I think it's going to be a lovely day and I wish them all the best. Something that brings the whole country and indeed a worldwide audience together can't be a bad thing!
