My skin gets very dry in this weather we are having, and especially in the summer, I don't wear make up at all maybe once in a while I will use some eyeliner and some lipstick but I can not find any lotion that really helps dry skin and I have tried so so many of them Dove, Jergens, Store Brand, Cocoa Butter I mean most all of them. Do you know what can help and what lotion really works for dry skin?

My question is what part of your skin is dry? If it's your face than I do not have an answer for you. But anywhere else like feet and hands you can use vasaline and then sleep with socks on your hands or your feet and do this for several nights and it will help greatly. Wal-mart makes a thick cream for very dry skin in a tub I think it runs around $7 and is by the tubs of Alveno that works well as well also.

If you have the time too you could put plastic bags over your feet with a generious amount of cream or vasaline. Some people use linen gloves or socks to do this but I don't see why to go out of your way with additional expense KWIM?

Believe or not I use baby oil after I shower. I seem to work well. If I don't use it at least 3 time a week, I will have flaky skin again. I also love the smell of it. Best Wishes!

If you're living in a country with less humidity I think lotion is not just enough to moisturize your skin.I have used Glycerin cream before and it really works. If it's not available you can use Petroleum Jelly instead, but Glycerin is better because it does not makes you feel hot even in the summer.
