( I think I have a headache now from it. Ouch!) What if they did legalize marijuana? Wait--Hold it! Hear me out those of you that appose this idea. I did too until early this morning. I was on Facebook and you know how those ads to the right keep popping on and changing? Well one about marijuana did and it hit me like an apiphany. If they did legalize it then they would also tax it. Think of all the little shops that have popped up around the country selling all different kinds of products. If these were taxed and others that would surely follow suit---the US might get out of debt. It's a start. We need some bucks from some where and mary ole jane doesn't have any more side effects than many other drugs on the market today. Think about it and give me you thoughts please.

C'mon! Let's rule out addictive substance as a source of income and a booster for the economy. The world in general and super powers in particular are in this economic soup of their own making! We waste everything we use! We misuse what we use! We use whatever we use more than what we need! This applies to food, energy and anything we can think of! Conserve that and there will be plentiful and economy will be healthy. I know that this is the hardest option to choose. I also know that it is the best option.

Yes, I agree. Maybe we should concentrate more on the expenses rather than on the income. Because even if we do have more income but we don't limit our expenses still, we would still be in debt.
And I don't think using something harmful as a means of earning is right. It would seem that money is more important than health, or life.

I have thought about this for a long time actually. I have thought they should legalize it.
But they won't. The reason why I think they won't is...the cities, states, counties and so forth would stop getting money from catching people selling and buying it. They make too much money from catching the people using it now.
Plus the government wouldn't have a monopoly on being able to grow and sell it themselves!

Been saying that for years, It wouldn't only be taxes we (country) would earn money from any offenders of the laws that would be put out. Think of the fines they would collect.

I think more states should legalize it.
