Do you ever have nightmares (bad dreams)?

I always have bad dreams and some of them are really funny like I was bitten by fast running turtle that looks like a frog. And this afternoon, after getting tired in front of my computer, I slept. I had this dream like we were on a vacation in an island, bought a scuba diving suit, walked along the shore, had some snacks then we decided to dive to look for the beautiful creation under. I wasn't a swimmer after all but never in my dream it appeared that I don't know how to swim! So, I dived in, and the next picture is...I'm drowning. God thing my boyfriend is always there to wake me up and upon opening my eyes, I saw my hands flipping like trying to get out of the water. What a silly dream! How about you? Do you ever have nightmares or bad dreams? What were they about?

Yes, several ties I woke up after dreaming about it and sweating and breathing heavily. I was a rebel even when I was a child, so yes I guess I was naughty back then...

I think that's a difficult dream -- chased by MAD people... and could not run away. Why do you think you dreamed of that scene? Maybe you were a naughty teenager before so the mad people still follow you in your dreams. Did you wake up after that dream?

Haha....Usually my dreams are funny. It used to be like a challenging fiction story with different places, background and time. Sometimes it is about school life even if I already finished my study, then it's about being a kid back..haha I really like most of my dreams. Even the bad dreams always end with the happy endings.

Wow.. You always have a very nice sleep then. Even you bad dreams have happy endings? What were those bad dreams that you have? This morning my dream was like yours, full of adventure and funny. We're in a place where all you needed to enjoy was there. I can't remember the whole picture actually.

@ifa, maybe your sister wants you to cut down your foods. Or maybe she wants you to go on a diet. @dianne, it would be scary when all nightmares do come true. I can't imagine them happening.

I think dreams have meanings too sometimes but for the nightmares, I really wish they don't.

I used to have terrible dreams when I was younger. The dreams I have now are not so intense. I still have wild and crazy dreams..sometimes they are just about everyday life..lol...The ones that I used to have when I was little was about a guy that was trying to get me. I son't know who he was or why he wanted to get me, but I dreamed about him every night. I would even have those dreams where you wake up...think its over and then when you go back to sleep it continues where it left off.

Oh yes...I saw his face everytime. I can even remember what he wore. He was always after me in different places and this one dream that I remember I was in a store and he was following me so close that he was stepping on the heels of my tennis shoes before I darted off in a run between the aisles. It is good that I don't dream about him anymore.I'm thinking he wouldn't have made a great daddy

Can you remember the guy's face? Or at least did you see it? That was crazy. Maybe a premonition then that someone wants to really get you when you were younger or just admires you and wants you to be his daughter. Anyways, good thing you're not having those kinds of dreams now. Maybe the guy can't get you now because you've gotten big.

Yikes! I wonder who that man is... Good thing you weren't dreaming of him anymore. That was really scary though. Are you not traumatized with that when you were younger? Like you've been thinking that someone's really following you?

I do to. I have small black midgets whose faces I cannot see, I think they are more of shadows shaped in human form and each are holding my arms and legs. I was screaming but nothing came out from my mouth. I tried waking up but it was such an effort to get myself up. It happened to me twice. And I remember too that we were traveling and our bus had fallen down the cliff. Bad dreams sometimes makes me feel that it is so real until I have awakened. Glad it was just a bad dream.

The worst nightmare that I can remember is this: I was chopping fire wood in the mountain when a big wolf appeared in front of me!I was so frightened that I ran away from it in a hurry but immediately the wolf ran after me and I could never shake off it.I tried any path that I could without heeding which I chose till I fell down off a steep cliff! Then I woke up with sweat all over the body.

Whew! That was scary imagining it was a wolf.. I think you might have been bitten if you didn't fall down that cliff... Good thing you woke up or else the wolf might follow you down the stiff.

Hi belinda!^^ I think there's no one in this Earth who has not had a single bad dream. I have had bad dreams from slipping or falling down the stairs to nightmares such as getting chased by a monster or going to be killed by a cousin. You probably know Sadako, the long-haired bad spirit in the movie(s) The Ring. I like watching horror movies and I did not dream of her right after watching the movie. I wasn't even thinking of her and the movie when I dreamed of her. The scene in my dream was me sleeping in my bed beside a window and Sadako was peering through the window. It was a good thing that she wasn't showing her bulging scary eye thru her hair! Anyway, she was reaching out to me with her decaying hand and it was a really creepy scene. But I proved to be the stronger because I held her hand and tried to break it. lol And then the scene changed and she was chasing me. It ended funnily because I became the chaser and she was the one being chased.^^ The nightmare with my cousin was the most creepy and the scariest one I ever had. I will never forget it. In the nightmare, I was in my bed about to sleep and then my I saw my cousin slowly entering the room with a psychotic look in her eyes, her right hand was raised holding a knife. She was slowly approaching me and I knew I was going to be killed. The scary part is I was trying to shout and get out of the bed but I couldn't lift a single finger nor utter a single word. Until know I don't know what that nightmare means. My cousin does not bear any grudge against me so I don't really understand it. Cheers.

Hi secretbear.. Good thing you agreed that no one in this earth haven't experienced bad dreams while sleeping. Your dream was quite interesting and I can actually imagine it while reading. (WHew! Just hoping sadako won't visit me later on my sleep) Well, there's one thing I can't imagine, how sadako runs while being chased. About your dream with your cousin, I don't know if it has some meanings regarding the plan of killing you. Even though she's not holding a grudge against you, I think it still has some explanations for it.

Wow.. That's good. Having good dreams I think means you're always thinking of good memories and always having a good day. Is it true? As for me, sometimes I don't dream that much. But when I do, it's always an adventure. And most of the time, they came from what I saw that day. Too freaky sometimes.

Hi adnileb.. This happened to me recently, though this is not the first time. I was lying in bed with the bedroom door open. I could see my daughter walking back and forth outside and I called to her but she ignored me. I could also see our dog following her around. I could see myself raising my arm and gesturing to her. I could see my hands move but I also feel myself lying down and could not move nor lift my finger. It was like two of me...one was lying down on the bed and the other moving. It was scary, really, and I was beginning to get scared. I forced myself to relax mentally. It was then I heard my daughter calling my name and I woke up. She told me my eyes were wide awake though I was not moving. And she had on a different color of blouse. Scary.

That's really scary. I wonder if that was a dream because your eyes were wide awake. Well, whatever it is, it's scary. Good thing your daughter woke you up. Are your dreams always like that? It's like a scene from a horror movie.

Well I don't have bad dreams now, but when I was younger I use to have this recurring nightmare. It starts off with the biblical stairway to heaven, with pretty angels. I always get so entranced by that sight, that I also always try to climb up. But when I take the first step up the angels turns into hideous demons and that's when I start running and shouting until I wake up. I often wonder what that dream means though...

I don't remember about the bad dreams because they are not segmented chronologically if they were.. that illogical , fancy , random and infoless part bothers me like a nightmare. The rest are sweet , rest as rare romantic dreams or explicit ones where I meet a girl or a crush and "happy ending" scene that I like to have in reality. I wish those are the ones I remember...

Wow.. It's so nice to dream of sweet thoughts. I also have those kind of dreams when I was younger. Well, that was when I always think of my CRUSHES. I think it's possible for them to appear in your dream if you always think of them before going to sleep. Some things just remain significant in our dreams even though we only saw them ones. Dreaming is indeed a wonderful thing. Well, at least not for nightmares or bad dreams. Welcome to mylot casualkT!

I have alot of scary and funny dreams but I dont remember most of them after I wake up, one of the dreams I remember was that I was in the harry potter scene where voldemort kills cedric, i dont remembe much of it but when I woke up I felt as if it was my mistake that cedric was killed and I couldnt save him. I think it was after I saw the harry potter movie late night.

Wow.. That was an awesome movie! You happened to be one of the Harry Potter's cast BUT in your dreams. Well, at least, not bad at all. Most of the dreams usually are those that remain to our minds before we sleep (be it night or day). So try for sometime to watch a movie you really like then maybe, when you sleep, you will also be one of the characters. Welcome to mylot Sylvestor!!

I sometimes have bad dreams. Last week I dempt that there was a ghost on my back and it was like a cloud puff of a ghost and it was just latched right onto my back trying to get into me. Then there are other dreams where something really ugly and scary is chasing me trying to kill me. Then there are some that I have had that there have been wars and a bomb came crashing into my house.

Gosh, all the lotters dreams are very scary. And I can imagine all of them. You seem to be watching a horror movie before you sleep because your dream was like a scene from a horror movie. How did you deal with your dream? Did it bother you? Did it wake you up from your sleep?

I seldom have dreams and that makes me seldom have nightmares. When I had nightmares usually it's about someone like an intruder entering my house and got me scared, or someone was stalking me. I mean I'm no celebrity, so why did I had those nightmares?, how silly...

Maybe some ghosts admire you that's why they stalk you in your dreams. Well, hopefully not a ghost. Do you have some thoughts that you're being stalked or your house being intruded? Maybe your subconscious mind works while you were sleeping that's why it shows in your dreams.

It's normal to be afraid of dreams especially YOUR dreams. But I think yours is kinda helpful for some reason that you will know what will happen on some situations. You mean ALL your dreams have significant meaning? All of them happened already? Can you give me some scenarios from your dream that already came true? Well, I was just curious.

My most memorable dream is the feeling that the Earth was going to crumble down. It was complete darkness like the sun was gone. People were screaming, even in the darkness I can see their faces. On the horizon a swirling black swirling thing kept coming closer and closer. It was bending the image of the stars. Then slowly I began to suffocate. Then bam. I woke up. Drenched in sweat. This is my greatest fear right now. I don't ever want to see the world end in my lifetime.

Last night I has a dream that scared the heck out of me. In my dream a doctor is about to operate on me while we were skydiving and there were injections flying everywhere. If you are afraid of injections like me, then you would know how terrifying that dream really is.
