I was an active member several months back and have now returned. I wanted to share some news with you all. Some of you may remember that I had an adult son that mixed up with the drugs and ended up in Prison. He is now home. He has been home for about two weeks now. A totally different man than before. He went though all kinds of programs and got his GED while there. He is doing wonderful now with his new sober life. I too have learned alot from him over the past three years. Has anyone ever learned from their adult child?

Hello my friend I missed you so much, how have you been? I am so glad to hear your son is home that is so wonderful my friend, I always learn something from my daughter to this day she is trying to toughen me up, she thinks I am too nice/sensitive although she use to be the same way she has changed and she wants me to change as well, but I honestly feel being sensitive makes me who I am, sure some times it can be annoying lol but its o.k I love being able to put myself in other peoples shoes. How is your family otherwise my friend, so glad your back, I looked for you, I was gone for a long time myself, I did not have internet access so it was hard, but I pulled through, had so ups and downs pulled through that as well, are you enjoying your home sweet, I hope so, I know you missed your son, but he is home, so come back to mylot and lets have some discussions again lol So good to see you back, I missed you.

Well Hello kitty. So glad to see that you are still on here. I do have missed you as well. We have moved since we last talked. The landlord put the place up for sell and the cost was way out of our budget. Did find a real nice place. My son is teaching me patience. I was never big on that and so with all his it showing me how to have it. Im greatful and happy for him. Thanks for responding and you take care of yourself. Keep smiling.

Hi friend, nice to see you. I am glad you have your son back with you. I am sure it has been hard. Yes, I learn from both of my adult children. Sometimes they are lessons I would rather not learn. I hope things go well for you and your family from now on.

Hi Dawn. Good to hear you. I know some people might look down on the thought of me having a son in prison, but I would rather know that he was there instead of being six feet under the ground. Thanks for your response. Have a great day and as always keep smiling.

Hi tiger. Yes moving was a good choice. He has seen some of his old buddies and can't believe how they act. He is more humble now then ever before. He wants to help them get the sober life as well. Thanks for responding and have a great day. Keep smiling.
