Hi All, Have you ever use two SIM cellphone? I'm going to buy one. I will use one SIM to contact with my friends and family, one SIM to work (contact with my customers). How do you think about this idea? Should I use two SIM or using my main number to do business? Can you introduce me a two SIM cellphone which you think it's good? Thanks advance!

I suggest that you go ahead and buy that dual sim phone! It is always advantageous to have one phone which caters two networks in it. Its convenient for you do not have to carry 2 phones. If you are in the Philippines, I suggest you buy MYPHONE.

If you are using two numbers under one network provider, it could all boil down to a problem of confusion. But if it is important to categorize your contacts (one number for business and the other for pleasure), I think it would be okay. As long as you know which line is which, I think you will do just fine with a dual sim phone. Happy phone hunting!

Samsung has a new dual sim model and I think Sun Cellular (in the Philippines) is offering it as free for Plan P350.00. I think it would be better to use two sim but it is also hard to manage so it is better to get a dual sim phone.

I think so. I'll buy one if I use two SIM for family and business.

If you really need two SIM at the same time my friend, just using it. Because some of the cellphone users has different providers. But if your country have one provider no need for you to used dual SIM. Because it is useless...

There are 5 different providers in my country. However, I only like one of them. I want to use two SIM of this provider on one hand phone. I think that I should use two number to avoid complicated things with people who I don't want to contact in holidays or when I'm staying home.

I don't really prefer using one phone for 2 sim cards. I feel like these kind of phones don't last long. But if you feel like this is very helpful and more convenient for your communication then I would suggest you buy one. Just make sure the phone has a high quality so your money is really worth it.

Using a Double sim mobile isn't bad , but the main problem will be the wayof using it , some times you may make a call from a sim that doesn't have money , there could be some glitches in the call .

Seems like a good idea to me. I never used any dual sim phone, and have no plans to do it now, but is good if you want to isolate the work from your personal life, or your private life from your friends for example. Just make sure that when you're calling/texting, to use the proper account. In some places, it was suggested to use a second cellphone directly instead, but the raw effect is the same, if you don't care to lose a bit of isolation.

I just recently heard about the two sim cell phone thing. I think that would be neat to separate contacts just by having two sim cards. Does that mean you will have two separate numbers or how does the two sim thing work?

Separating the two is advisable so that business/work contacts do not do so during your off and personal time. I was not aware of a duo sim phone but if this helps I suggest you do so, so that this way you do not have to carry two phones. I always carried one with one phone number and did not have a problem with the two contacting me on the one phone. I guess it depends on what kind of business it is.

Yes, I did hear about it long a ago. Instead of using two mobile phones, I can place two different sim cards in the same mobile phone. Later, I can select line 1 or Line 2 to call out. ha! ha! ha! I am now looking for a latest one too because it is good to classify our contacts persons in two categories. One for friendly and the other for unfriendly. Those friendly contacts should comprise close friends, wife, parents, relatives, children. Those unfriendly contacts should comprise customers and new friends. For our personal safety reason, we should screen our incoming call in such way too.

Yes, I have heard about the phone which is able to support two SIM card. It is definitely much more convenient as compared to carrying 2 phones everywhere you go. However, the downside is that there are not many model of phone that support 2 SIM card. Furthermore, most of them are not nice (in design etc) If you are really interested in purchasing a cell phone supporting 2 SIM card, i advise you to do more research on the brand that you will be buying

i think you should use dual sim phones for your convenience. several renown brands like samsung have models that have dual sim feature. as for the philippines, the popular brands here are MYPHONe and CHERRy mobile.
