I was reading this study that said that people used to laugh more than 15-16 minutes everyday while today is about 3-5 minutes. Now that I think about it is been few days for me since I last laughed out loud. What do you think are the main reason for this? How would you deal with it?

Maybe it is related to the fact that perhaps more people have much more worries today then they do happy times. I know I have a lot of worries and not as happy as perhaps I use to be. But I do manage to laugh several times a day, especially when I read a funny comment from somewhere here. There are many here willing to share the laughter. I really enjoy that.

Maybe because most people are too busy working, or they are mostly alone so it would be really weird for them to laugh all the time, but I laugh all the time, even when I'm all alone..., don't worry much about these studies, it might ring true for some but just make sure it's not true for you...

I think life was less complicated in the past and people simply had more reasons to laugh;nowadays many people have to deal with the stress of daily life and they are so worried about their jobs, their money, the bills they have to pay and so on that they forget that we need to take some time, enjoy life and,why not, have a good laugh, because that's a great way to release the stress.I also have days when I don't laugh at all,but I try to compensate when I'm in a good mood.Laughing definitely makes me that life isn't that bad after all.

Few people smile. Each carries with him good and bad, light and heavy, beautiful and ugly. Each man has his thoughts and face is transfigured, living where you thought the gate. The eyes are lost and come back to watch secatuiesc drown in the stories and look bitter or explanations, solutions that transcend eyes ... meet you, running in the Universe. The idea is that the image of a man's heart reflects (cica. do not think they check in all cases), and while the soul is ravaged by the problems, worries, fears and many others, that man will not even try to be cheerful. Actually, no he will not try, would be too tired and too pensive look to even smile. No?

I think people around the world now has more to worry about than years ago. There are a lot of things that bother most people. A lot of people are unemployed or underemployed, tradegy, rape, frustration, regrets, poverty, broken relationship, lovers jilted by lovers, road accident, plane crashes, stockmarket rising and falling, etc In the midst of all these set back, one should not expect many individual to carry a smiling faces all around. People are being confronted with more challenges than it were so many years ago.It is true that we live in a modern world that is being taken over by technology but despite all this hitech such as cellphone, computers, laptop etc we still being faced with a lot of security challenges such as terrorism.

Work.. And the targets with life. Most things have this thing called earning money to be happy at the top of the bucket list and work and strive so hard that they forget that happiness is in the small joke that you share with your friends and family. Most people seem to forget that laughter is surely the best way to overcome stress and problems. I usually laugh for more than an hour everyday. I watch comedy movies whenever possible increasing that time and watching funny videos posted on the facebook and the web. bourne

People have less time to laugh, more things to worry about. We have become much harder to please these days also. The more we have the more we want.

I think the main reason why people have stopped laughing is due to the all the struggles in life. Not to mention I notice people take life to seriously and sometimes cant enjoy it. I laugh everyday but not for 15 mins everyday i would pass out from lack of air lol.
