If you had you own site, what would you put in it?

I don't have one yet, but I'm planning to. I still don't know if what I want to do with it is possible, but I sure hope it can be done. Also, I don't know if something like it already exists. In any case, if I had one, it would be a site where people can post stories and artists can browse through these stories and draw out their favorite scenes. I would probably want it to cater to other writer/artist interests like tutorials, workshops and the like. What about you? What would you put in your imaginary website? If you already have one, what did you decide to put in it?

I wouldn't say that's a bad idea. Anyone would want a little limelight. What aspects of your life would you put in your site anyway?

I would build a site with a lot of photoshop tutorials and sell website layouts... A long time ago I read all I could on html. But html is outdated now, and there are so many codes and scripts to learn! I used to make blends and such on photoshop, but even that photoshop version I was used to is out of date now. I have pushed this goal aside, at least for now, because of school. When I have time, I will definitely work on this. Good luck on your pursuit! Yours sounds like a great idea. You should check out fictionpress if you haven't heard of this site already, for more ideas and inspiration. :)

I have heard of fictionpress. I'm also a member of deviantart. I always thought it would be cool to have a site that could put the basic idea of these two sites together. Yours also sounds like a good idea. As someone who is relatively new to photoshop, a site like that seems very convenient. I hope you will succeed in making that site.

I would like to develop a website that I can use to sell information to the outside world. I am an online worker. I earn money from blogging, posting comments, writing articles, affiliate marketing. I will simple want a website that I can use to make money. There are so many opportunities in the internet today than it where in the past. So I like to develop a work from home business sites that can enable me to reap fortune from the internet. I do not believe in internet scam and I will do everything possible to condemn people who use the internet for fraud.

i want to have an online shop and i want it to be a website, not a part of multiply or facebook. i dont know much about website building and the consequences twined with it. i'll have to ask assistance first with it, and look for some great things to sell that will catch many people. :)

Yes, our very own online store would be nice. Since it will be an earning site, I don't think paying for the server(?[not sure about the term...]) wouldn't be a problem. I hope you find that person who can help you start out, and I hope the best for you.

Hey, I have to say, this sounds like a fabulous idea. I'd like to have a website with information for UK students...with information from current students (not the press teams!) on how they feel about their course/university. I'd like to have study tips etc, since the jump from school to university is a big one and lots of people struggle

That sounds like a good idea too. A lot of kids see tertiary education as a really big step in their lives and it seems like a really scary place if you don't know what to expect. Study tips and anecdotes from students who are already there would be very encouraging for those who are just getting there.

hi harck721, I hope I have one own website this year or next year. I imagine there a lot of things to do but I have to slow down -hurry won't result good. I may have news, song lyrics, short article about healthy, fashion, science, lifestyle, else, game, quizzess, photos and story. By now, I collect all information to arrange my website and what I put on it. I think it would be great :-D

Your website sounds interesting. I hope it works out and you get everything you want to put in it. ^-^ And yes, it's never good to rush these kinds of things. You might make some grave mistakes along the way. Working slowly and making sure everything is made properly would guarantee a great site. Good luck with your endeavors.
