The 90's has been great even though I was still quite young then. I am now 23 and I have really good memories with what the world was in the years about over a decade ago... I particularly miss the music of the 90's - I think the songs made within that period are much better than the songs of today. I miss the all-male and all-female groups that were very popular in the 90's and those good songs of thought that were performed in good musical decent taste. How about you? Do miss anything from the 90's?

The nineties were probably one of the most unmemorable decades ever. The only thing that springs to mind is the Y2K joke towards the end. So much money wasted on something that never existed! It was also the buildup to the millennium that became so damn boring that by the time of the actual millennium arrived, it was almost a non event - we were glad when it was all over!

I love music in 80's and 90's and the lyrics really came from the heart of composers, the tempo is just right. Also 90's is the year of boy bands singing and dancing to the cheers of their fans. It's sad some disbanded and others go solo.

Like you, I missed the 90's music too. And of course, my life back then was pretty fun, especially when one is not tied down .

I was born in 1992, so I have no clear picture of the 90's scenes, but I think the new millennium's way, way better than the previous.

Although it technically ran into the early 00's, the thing I miss the most from the 90's is "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"!. I miss watching it all as a family, debating angel v spike, laughing at the one liners etc. It was an excellent show :)

In the 90's, I was in my 20's. The decade was good for me . . . I was out of college and into my career. My boyfriend and I (from when we were 18) was growing better and better through the years. I started competitive figure skating and got pretty decent at it (it's a big chunk of my life I will always have with me, and I'd have to say that's probably what I miss the most). I even dumped a bad friendship that was hanging on my shoulder for years - and that felt real good too. I'd have to say that decade was a decade of experimentation of different things for me - I really learned a lot!!

Of course, the 90's was great ,we do want to sum up its advantages, because past experience ,if not forgotten,is a guide for the future. However the 90's didn't leave nothing to be desired and today don't have no merit to speak of.On the whole, society is progressive,we can't live in where we live in yesterday for ever.

I love the cars of the 90's they were physically stronger and rugged compared to this 21st century cars. The recent cars being manufactured looks very attractive but they are not so strong. I live in Nigeria were the road are not too motorable. Many Nigerian are now buying Geep because it is a big car and it is the only class of car that is very strong like the cars of the 90s. It is the only car that can easily survive the Nigerian road.

i think practically we have missed the values atleast 90's was better.look at these hell lot of Murders,Rapes, thefts and scams going on.Goodness gracious me God help my country India.Everything had changed right from relations to values.Every body treats other one as a piece of Nothing.Moral values are very important for the growth of any society.God dam it people know they shall not take anything withem them after they die its only the values they carry forward still they neglect only values. When it comes to the stars we have missed the heros Michael Jackson a revelation in 90s and so was shakira. still every good things come to an end Time for a Change.Change we can

Yeah I agree with you. I was born in 90s and I was really in love with the music of 70s up to early 90s. Music in previous decades were really good and written from the heart. I am still somehow a fan of bands and some singers today, some of their songs are worth listening for, but it could have been easily forgotten, unlike those songs from the past. Music industries nowadays are, in my opinion, were more focused in quantity of producing songs instead of the quality.

Hi Dear Vesuvius! I not only miss the sweet music of that era but also miss the equipments used to play the music! We used to have Record Players, Record Changers, Spool Tape Recorders and cassette Tape Recorders and Stereo Decks to play the music. The music was enjoyed with this equipment as the equipment in themselves were the beauty to be appreciated! In the memory of the past I have got collection of Gramophone Record player, Stereo Record player, Stereo Cassette Deck still with me. I had a Record Changer but while transportation that has got damaged! The time was different and I have sweet nostalgia associated with it! Thanks for the discussion!

I miss the music that I liked to listen to in the late 1980s and the early 1990s. It was acid house music and I loved to dance to it. In the late 1980s I liked to go to discos and nightclubs. I miss the college that I went to in the late 1980s and I went to see it a number of times in the early 1990s. I miss the excellent fire work displays that I saw on 5th November in those days. I used to live three miles away from Canterbury. It was just one and a half hours to London. Very much indeed I miss great shopping experiences.

I was a teenager in the 90's, and I miss some of the friends from that time. My best friend and I used to listen to the local radio stations all the time and we recorded our favourite songs on cassette tapes. I had lots of tapes and I listened to them over and over. My friends and I also discussed our favourite tv-shows. There was a Danish tv-show for young people that we watched every single week, the next day at school we always discussed that tv-show.

I missed the music, the fashion and the characters of artists during the 90's. The fashion or attires during that era, was quite colorful and fun. With the music, I missed the melodic and mystical sounding melodies like 99 loofbaloons and the new waves. I misses the Duran-duran, Wham, Cindy Lauper, Vanilla Ice, Madonna, Michael Jackson and a lot, lot more. Have a nice day!

the music. though the best ones for me are from way behind this era, i like the grunge, alternative rock. nirvana, pearl jam, stone temple pilots, etc. etc... today, is like nothing's new. you hear a song and it'll remind of something that was done ages ago. and the lyrics... most songs these days have this Godawful lyrics. i miss the days when i hear something new, it makes me sit and really listen to the words. ' oh! i miss my age too! lol! the days when i could just lie down after a long day and get excited to wake up and spend another day with my friends. worry and problem free life. (sigh)
