I have the same problem. You'd be surprised how many people there are who hate being skinny - everyone always focuses on OVERweight as a problem and ignores us. Don't you hate it when people keep saying "I wish I was thin like you..."? I asked a friend the best way to gain weight (healthily) - he's a bodybuilder and knows about these things. His advice was to eat little and often: get plenty of calories (i.e. more than the basic 2500 for a man or 2000 for a woman) every day but do it in bits. In other words, don't eat 3 HUGE meals a day. Eat seven or eight times at regular intervals, with a few hundred calories a time. Don't eat a lot of fat (that will just make you unhealthy and put strain on your heart). Make sure you get your vitamins. Lots of protein is good if you want to work on building muscle. Don't forget to exercise or you won't "gain mass" in a good way - you'll just get fat. Walking is fine, though you can do more serious stuff to build muscle. Taking his advice, I put on 20 kilos over a few months and am now less skinny. I gained a little muscle, feel fit from regular walking and have absolutely no health problems associated with the weight gain. One IMPORTANT note: talk to a health professional about any serious diet changes. Make sure you're doing it right - it's not worth damaging your health over.

Wow... I've never heard of someone complaining from being skinny. I hope you are not anorexic. Anyway, to answer the question: I think you should eat a lot! Try eating lots of fruits since those are healthy for you anyway. :) Just don't make it a habit to overeat... food can be very tempting.

Eat well, take some vitamins, get enough sleep and don't stress yourself too much.
