I guess this is very common - having problems with our bosses at work is almost inevitable. My problem with my boss is how he relays important information - we always end up in a mess because of his inaccuracy. He also doesn't seem to realize that he has that problem in him. How about you guys? Do you have a PROBLEM with your BOSS at work?

I don't usually have a problem with my boss at work. I work with children so sometimes our views on discipline differ. For example, these two boys were playing with legos and were making armies and waging wars on each other. They kept pushing over each others legos and such. I let them play. She wanted me to tell them to stop. But to me, it was just them playing. They weren't harming anything. We never got in an argument about it though.

On my previous job, my female boss is terror! There is no employee in the office that she did not scold or reprimand, insult infront of other employees. She has a German blood that's explain her behavior. In my present job, my boss is way too far from my previous, he's the most kind boss I've ever had. But the problem is I do multi-tasking job at a very low salary. I am female but I've delivered heavy blueprints to the client commuting alone. He don't have consideration on that aspect, he thought it's easy for me to run an errand with or without heavy load. It also takes time for him to give us a salary increase. He also don't want us to leave the office at exact 5:00 pm, we wait few mins. more and we have to ask him before leaving the office. But attitude wise, he's kind and like a father to us.

Yes...they like to make sure they look superior and sometimes like you said...their information isn't correct so they blame it on someone else? Go figure. The least they could do is to fess up to their mistakes!

I work for myself now, but when I did have bosses, my last one was really aggressive (female boss) and nasty. I tried not to let her get me down, but she just got worse and worse. One day I confronted her but in a calm way and it seemed to do the trick as she was very nice to me after that.

Hi. Yes I agree with you most employees have a problem with their bosses. But me, actually I don't have problem withe her, we do respect each other decisions and work we have. Before, we are 10 in our department until, only two of us left in our department, So maybe it's one of the reasons. And one thing I did all the responsibilities left by my co-employees without any complaint.

I am currently not working off-line and when I do it is more on a independent contracting basis. I have to say that I normally have not had problems with bosses, or rather the experiences I have had at work were all that if they had problems it was more so they were the problematic ones. So after taking so much I moved on because being that I could not change them, I had to change things for me.
