Purchase a new Android...

I want to purchase a mid-range Android phone... Just a bit confused as there are many options availabe... I am considering Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro. How is this phone ???
Can anyone please suggest me some other Android phones better than x10 mini pro in approximately the same price range....

Hey, I don't have that phone, but I have the HTC Wildfire which is slightly cheaper, and also an android phone. The upgraded version, the Wildfire S is slightly more expensive than the mini pro.
I have to admit, I really like my Wildfire. It's a comfortable size to hold, runs plenty of apps without problems and has a good camera. It's only running android version 2.1 though so if you wanted something more up to date I'd go for the Wildfire S which is running gingerbread, android version 2.3. The x10 mini pro, according to what I could find online, is only running v1.6, so I'd be a little nervous about that. After all, they upgrade things for a reason right?! lol.

Hey thanks buddy.... i will surely check out the wildfire... Anyways i am searching for alternatives... Just wanted to mention one thing mini pro has upgraded to android 2.1. It is still the outdated version (but atleast better than 1.6) and i guess this is the only probable disadvantage in mini pro...

The Xperia is a decent line up on Sony’s Android smartphones. However, there are also other phone carriers that have the same quality over Sony’s. Some Android Phone over Samsung and LG have the same quality as that of Xperia and they are also Android updated.
But if you want to have a different operating system, you can try out the Nokia Lumia, it’s quite a decent phone running on Symbian and some have windows-8 for mobile.
