sentimental value or sentimental me

Last week-end, me and my daughter gathered all old clothes from the closes that we have kept for several months now. We tried to choose those we can donate to our church to be given to the poor. While we are arranging our used clothings, i saw my old green long sleeve blouse which i have kept for more than 5 years now. I love this blouse so much that even if it doesn't fit me any longer and seem no reason at all, I just cannot give it away. It does wear sentimental value or I am just being too sentimental.

If you can't wear it, it's better to give it to someone else who can benefit from it. A tip if you find it hard to declutter is, pack away some clothes you don't wear in a bag, and put a label on the bag dated one year from now. When that date arrives, if you haven't needed any of the clothes in the bag, just give it away now without even opening it. You will probably have forgotten most of what is in there, so it will be easier to give it away.

Your advice is well taken. I'll do it. Thanks for your suggestion. It's of great help, really. Thanks again.
