What can you say about TAXES?

TAX. I believe all countries have this. History tells much about it too. It is a value taken from income, from a value of property, from sales of a product, and from a lot more things. Many people dislike being taxed because tax really does take substantial amounts and even though we know why it's collected, it's still a pain. It's even more painful when you know you're tax is only falling onto someone else's pocket - if you know what I mean. Some people believe that taxes should not be mandatory but voluntary instead. But if there would be a voluntary taxation, would anybody volunteer? Probably very few would. What say you mylotter? Tell something about how you feel about taxes.

If you want things like roads etc to be nice...you have to pay....so I don't mind paying taxes. They shouldn't be volunteery....no one would pay especially the rich who most time try to find ways out of paying anything in the first place!

I really don't understand why we have to pay taxes. Why can't they just go ahead and include it in the selling price? I hate it when you pay for your property and you pay taxes on it every year until you pay your property off, but then they still charge taxes every year on it. How? It is already paid for so there is a zero balance and nothing to tax on!
